Primary Round or Visual Round

This is the same in both R/S and D/P.

Equation = ((B+C+F)/2)+A
where:
A = Primary attribute for the contest (ex. Cool)
B and C = Secondary attributes for the contest (ex. for Cool, these are Beauty and Tough)
F = Pokemon's feel

This equation is instead used for Festival Contests:

Equation= (A + B + C + D + E + F)/n
where:
A= Beauty attribute
B= Cool attribute
C= Cute attribute
D= Smart attribute
E= Tough Attribute
F= Luster
n= number of attributes actually used. If an attribute is 0, then it isn't counted.

A Pokemon holding a Scarf adds +20 to it’s attribute.

Secondary Round (R/S only)

Hearts determine which order the Pokemon appeal. If they are tied, the Appeal Points will determine who goes first. The Maximum number of hearts a Pokemon can earn/be jammed per turn is 16.

-Appeal Points-
Add 0 to the end of the moves appeal and jam. For example: Body Slam is +1 Heart and -4 Hearts for the opponent in front of it. So, User Pokemon earns +10 Appeal Points, while the Opponent Pokemon loses -40 points. The Maximum number of Appeal Points a Pokemon can earn/be jammed per turn is 160.

If a Pokemon earned a Star, this will add +10 Appeal Points to all its appeals. So 3 stars is +30 pts.

These moves are determined by the Crowd Meter’s Level: Pay Day, Magnitude, Rain Dance, Sunny Day, Nature Power. They have a different Appeal Points scale.

Crowd: 0; Appeal: 10
Crowd: 1; Appeal: 20
Crowd: 2; Appeal: 30
Crowd: 3; Appeal: 50
Crowd: 4; Appeal: 60

Lastly, when a Pokemon uses a move of the typed contest and raises the Crowd Level, it will earn an additional Appeal Points. Level 1-4: 10pts. Level 5: 50pts.

When scoring a combo move, the Pokemon earns double Hearts and double Appeal Points.

When the Crowd Meter reaches Level 5, the Pokemon earns +5 Hearts and +50 Appeal Points. The Meter is then reset to Level 0.

Acting Round (D/P only)

This is fairly simple. Just at 0 to the end of the total hearts earned. Body Slam is +3, so it’s 30 points. The Pokemon with the lowest points per turn goes first.

If a Judge’s Voltage reaches 5 stars, that Pokemon earns bonus hearts. +8 if it was the middle Judge, +5 if it was either of the side Judges.

At the end of each round, each Judge will hand out extra hearts based on the number of appeals they viewed. 1 appeal = +3 hearts. 2 appeals = +2 hearts. 3 appeals +1 heart. All 4 appeals = no hearts.

Final Judging

Same for both R/S and D/P.

((Appeal Points Score)*2)+(Voting score)

Highest Score wins!

Judge Quiz

There are 18 questions and they total up to 90 points. You must score 65 or more to pass. You must also get at least 1/3 of the Scenarios correct and obtain a pass in the other two. If you pass, the Judge Tester will help you with any wrongly answer question but if you fail, they will point out which you did wrong and you have to try again.

Judges aren't allowed to help obviously. Please do the quiz on your own as well. When you're done with it, send it to any of the active Judge Testers. Once you pass this, you will become an official judge.

3rd: Alakazam 60 PTS
4th: Starmie 40 PTS
Crowd Level = 2

Appeals: Porygon2 - Lock On; Raichu - Encore; Alakazam - Skill Swap; Starmie - Hyper Beam
Judge this as if you're judging an official contest and what are the appeal round results?
- Assume neither Alakazam nor Starmie get nervous. What are the chances of them being nervous and unable to attack individually?

21.
