Okay, when you're fishing and the little dots come up on the screen, don't press anything until it says "Oh, a bite!". When it says that, press A. The dots will then come up again and you do the same thing again. Eventually you'll be taken into the battle with the hooked Pokemon. ^^

I think it was a bad idea to make that. I hate having to really concentrate on pokemon games, the 'traditional' fishing method is better in my opinion. And what ever happened to the person vibrating when they hook a fish. That was funny...

I know, I don't like the upgrade they did with fishing either. I can never press it at the right moment before it escapes. The Ultra Rod is so annoying. :susp:

I did the same exact thing. I pressed the UP/DOWN/LEFT/RIGHT button opposite to where I am facing... and I thought each pull gives me one of the '......' that eventually leads to 'Oh! A bite!'. Ahhh... good old times.
