There is a rumor going around my school that this is the last set of new Pokemon and after this they are finished but they will still make new tv shows and video game. Please tell me if this is true or not.

I dont have the correct answer, but im thinking that after d/p and pokemon battle revolution, pokemon will disappear forever:sad:

I hope not, I know Pokemon won't die for another 10-30 years. But I know they will have to stop at some point just like everything does.:sad:

what i say is what im supposing, because they created too much games. I hope pokemon continues because it is the best game i ever played. And another thing, i want pokemon to continue because i dont have G/S/C and i want a remake!

A G/S/C remake would be perfect since that generation of Pokemon wasn't as popular. Also if they do end the games then a Pokemon game like WoW will come out and be the best game.

Or, it could be like Mario and Metroid and go on forever. The TV show cant go forever but the games surely can, I think.

I can assure you guys, there will be more to come. But i can't say that the generations won't stop because in time, Pokemon will in one day, vanish.

its sad that pokemon's gonna vanish someday. i think it will go up to like 8 - 10 generations.

Well, the actual games and generations probably won't go on for much longer, if they do go on, but I'm pretty sure that Nintendo and company have a few more games up their sleeves. It's no real use having only one Pokemon game coming out for the Wii; perhaps there will be an RPG like XD or Colloseum. Anyway, even if they don't keep making the TV show (which I never really cared for) or the games, Pokemon will still live on. There are always more young kids who will find a stray trading card or game and get into it. With every new generation of people, there will be a few more potential people to carry the love of Pokemon on.
