Well... you have to win the Master rank contest with any pokemon and earn AT LEAST 6 stars and 6 hearts when you win.

That pretty much sums it up, win the master rank ribbon in Lilycove and your Pokemon's picture will be put in the museum.

To add what the others said, after you get all paintings, you're rewarded with a statue for the secret bases
