Uh, I heard a rumor about a Ruby cloning cheat, where you go and deposit all of your \pokemon in the box, (Except on eof course) save the game, save it AGAIN, and while it's in the middle of saving the second time, turn it off, turn it back on, and all the pokemon you deposited in the box will be cloned. HOWEVER, it broke my game. Is this cheat a fake or did I just turn the gameboy off at the wrong time?

That is the cheat for G/S/C. The cheat was right, but I've never heard of it working on Ruby. Is you GBA okay?

Yeah, it's not true. Umm....I think it was kind of obvious it ruins your game, since you stop the game while writing the save file. That's why it says "DON'T TURN OFF THE FREAKING POWER!". Meh

Sorta, it has a lot of rainboiw colored lines going across the screen, but that could also be my fault.

Like, big and obvious ones? All the time? Because the GBA does that sometimes, if you look at it in light.

In response to your deleted edit: It freezes? That's bad. I know it happens for some GBAs if you push the cartridge in a lot.

No, no, they're a bunch of individual lines going down vertically, and each line is a different color, different from the game colors, and I see them pretty much all the time.

I mean, do they bother you while playing? If they do, get another GBA.
You shouldn't try unconfirmed cheats that involve dangerous stuff anymore, before asking on the forums.

Your GBA is stuffed. Get a new one. Or, you could call nintendo. Do you have the helpline number?

You shouldn't bother, not like they're going to give you a new one or anything...

... That's what happens when you play with electricity:rolleyes:

Anyway, Puggles: That's good, the DS are a much better console to use, not just physically, but it's more durable.

That's good to know, I'll be supercareful not to mess it up.

That's good. Make sure to keep it away from dust aswell. As it can sometimes stuff it around alittle. Not harmful in any way, but annoying.

I have a friend who had the similar problem, but his were VERTICAL lines of rainbow coloured. Its offical his GBA is screwed though.

DS is great! It looks cool too! I just purchased a Pokemon Ranger game... so I will possibly be active at the DS section too.
