1/9. So if you multiply 1 times 9, you get 1. Nothing hard on it; 2/9 is also an irrational number, and so are (3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8)/9. But why is 9/9 rational?
Irrational numbers are expressions of the divition of 2 rational numbers. But if the divition reaches a balance, then the result will be the unit, not an irrrational number.
