The Legend of Dragoon after war.

In the universe of Endiness there is divine tree from which all life has sprung forth. The last three species to come forth would be the ones who would war over control of it for all eternity. The Gigantos are the first of these three creatures. It is basically a human shaped creature that is twice the size of a human. The Humans are the second of these three creatures. Finally the Winglies are the last of these creatures they are basically humans with a natural magic ability. They are so magical that they have over time developed magical wings that they can create and destroy anytime they wish; these wings have become so natural that the winglies consider them an extension of their own bodies. The setting is more of a medi-eval time if you haven’t figured that out yet.

The Continent of Endiness is the landmass in which the game's story takes place. It consists of four major countries: Serdio, Tiberoa, Mille Seseau, and Gloriano. There is also desert-like region, known as the Death Frontier, which has never been set foot upon by humans. This is the map (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...f_Endiness.jpg )

Serdio is no longer split up by the waring families from 5 or so years ago. It has been united by the one true king Albert, who was the jade dragoon in a group of people known as the Last Dragoons and has control over the jade dragon known as Feyrbrand who was killed by the last dragoons.

Tiberoa is the Western country in Endiness, neighboring the Kingdom of
Serdio. Tiberoa is the second country on the World Map. It is the home to the secret wingly city which no human except for the members of the last dragoons has ever seen.

Mille Seseau is a land filled with ruins from the war between the last three creatures from the divine tree.

Gloriano was the base of operations for Emperor Diaz, who led the Humans during the Dragon Campaign, which was a campaign in which the humans found a way to harness the dragons and use their power in an effort to defeat the winglies.

The Death Frontier is a desert-like region in the Continent of Endiness. The only location that is in this region is a Wingly City.

Plot- It is twenty years after the Last Dragoons have defeated the evil Melbu Frahma, the god of destruction; the land is peaceful and as calm as can be. The monstrous tryrant, Ciserus, has risen to power in southern serdio and is trying to harness the magnificent powers of the divine tree. With which he plans to kill, slaughter, and mortify all that oppose him. It is up to 7 teenagers, who unknowingly have the potential to become dragoons, to try and stop him before all of Endiness is taken over by this great evil.

Okay you won’t get your dragoon spirit until I say you can. This will be based on how good your Rping is. The better your Rping the faster you will receive your dragoon. I will also tell you how you will receive your dragoon spirit.

Now that I've said all this I should probably tell you what a dragoon is. A dragoon is a human who can harness the abilities of a dragon that he has tamed. When the dragon dies or is tame enough its spirit is encased in a crystal and given to whoever the spirit sees as its master. When a creature chooses to activate the powers sealed in the dragon spirit their body gets wrapped in a almost spandex like clothing. After this has covered their body the armor which is a cross between samurai armor and medieval armor starts to appear on parts of the body. Finally the dragoon wings come out. The wing stems are armored and from them sprouts the rainbow colored translucent wings, which dragoons knights use to fly. Here is a picture so that you get the idea(http://www.emunova.net/img/dossiers/...20Dragoon.jpg). There are 7 dragoon spirits(if you must see what the others look like them look it up in yahoo images or something). When you first get your dragon spirits you won’t be able to do all the moves. You will gradually gain the ability to harness the true powers of the dragoons. I will tell you where your starting location will be.

Races:
Humans: a human(if you don't know what that is then probably not a good Idea to sign up for this rpg)

Gigantos:Gigantos are like giant barbarians; they stand at great heights and have massive strength. They weild weapons with such intensity and strength, that they seriously lack in speed. Defense against any type of physical attack is strong as well. Most attacks will bounce right off of their tough muscles. Their only serious weakness is that they have no emotions and are very weak at magic. When casting magic, their strength will be not that of even half of a normal mage. Their defense is also terrible; a few magic shots can take a Giganto out instantly. There is very few of the Gigantos that inhabited the Earth.

Winglies: Skilled in both fighting and magic, Winglies are almost like a superior version of the human race. They could fly, cast magic with ease, and fight with supreme power. However, the humans had almost driven the Winglies into extinction when the final war between the two happened. Very few had remained alive after that; hiding in villages somewhere.
(sounds fancy doesn't it)(http://www.avalancheonline.com/image...pic35.jpg)yeah small pic, but atleast it gives you an idea of what they look like.

The Minitos: These creatures were like small elves that you see in fairy tales; exact opposites of the Gigantos. They had large ears and were of a short size. They do not have the strongest attack or defense, but their speed is their greatest attribute. They can cast magic fairly well, also.

Weapon choices:

******* Sword - its blade is generally the length of a one-handed sword, although sometimes slightly longer. its grip is slightly longer than that of a normal one-handed sword, and is "belted." This means that about halfway down the grip, there is a bulge meant to help the swordsman grip more effectively. ******* swords' blades usually taper to a sharp point, as opposed to being parallel-edged. Finally, ******* swords tend to feature a diamond cross-section in their blade geometry.

Rapier: If you wish to be proper then go for the european Rapier.

Lance/Spear: a stick with a metal tip on the end. Heck you can have a metal tip on both ends if you want just be sure to tell me that.

Bow and Arrow: You know what this is.

Iron Knuckles: its a sorta punch amplifier, so to speak. put it on your knuckles and it makes your punches that much more brutal.

Pollaxe/Halberd - Often mistakenly referred to as a "pole-axe." Pollaxes feature a long shaft - generally of at least five feet. The shaft is often square, and topped with an axe head. Behind the axe head is a hammer-head made of several blunt spikes. The shaft is generally tipped on either end with a stabbing spike.

War Hammer - a type of one-handed hammer. an effective anti-armor weapon for use from horseback. War hammers were generally made completely of metal, with a hammerhead on one face and a long backspike behind it.

Ball and Chain: A metal ball connected to a chain. tell me if yours has spikes or not.

Daggers: You can have as many as you want just tell me how many.

Short Sword: a sword specifically meant for one-handed use and with a short blade.

Katana: A japanese blade with a curve in it. Ideal for slashing. Weapon of choice by samurai.

Dragoons:
The Red Eyed Dragon-a dragon that can control fire.

The Dark Dragon-a dragon that has the powers of demons and the ability to harness hell.

The Jade Dragon-a dragon that has the power to control the winds.

The White Sea Dragon-a dragon that has the power to harness heaven. The

The Violet Dragon-a dragon that can control thunder and electricity.

The Golden Dragon-a dragon that can control earthly materials, such as minerals in rocks, meteors, etc.

Name: Matthew Claudius

Species: human

Age: 15

Dragoon: Blue Sea Dragoon

Gender: Male

Description: A rather skinny, but not frail shaped body that is 6 feet tall. His arms stretch from his slightly broad shoulders to his mid thigh. This allows for extra reach. He is weak compared to the other kids in the neighborhood barely able to do one hundred pounds on the bench press. His legs are long and they come with matching feet that would are about 11 sized feet in American shoes. His glasses are small and fit him nice and snug. His hair is cut short not low enough to be a fade, but not high enough for him to use any gel or anything like that. His hair naturally curls. So instead of try to wrestle with it, he just lets it do what it does.

Weapon: Rapier

Personality: “Patience is a virtue, and water is patience”, it is one of his favorite lines. To him life is something used to keep souls in check until whatever force out there that is stronger than them is ready to receive that soul. He hates people who try to make themselves into this image of “wannabe coolness” so to speak. To him if someone doesn’t like him. He could care less he considers himself a person of stature and dignity. He does a lot of thinking. Isn’t a leader type figure, he prefers to stay in the back and be there when it counts.

History: Matthew was orphaned at birth. At birth the mother knew he was going to be someone special, but as long as he was with her then he would never be able to rise to his full potential. So she sadly let him go in an effort to save him from the life of poverty and desperation.

He was adopted by these very kind hearted people, who couldn't afford to have a baby of their own. They loved him with much love and care, but weren't able to show him the kind of love and care that he was craving. As a result he grew a small, but almost unnoticable hatred for them. At school he was insulted for being one of the quieter kids, but Matthew knew these people were just jeoulous of the fact that he had bigger muscles than them. To him they were just cheap distractions that didn't mean anything. Their oppinion didn't matter. The only oppinion that mattered to him was that of an oppinion from someone superior to you. His favorite place to go when the world decided it would try to crush him was near a river or into his temple.

At age 14 his foster parents had abruptly decided that he should meet his parents. At the beginning of the meeting his parents, who were extremely honest with him, told him everything that he didn't feel like hearing. Because of the fact that they had never been their for him, he didn't care about them, nor did he care that they were the seeds that created him. The parents were so honest that they willingly admitted he was a mistake and that they didn’t mean for him to be born. They explained everything to him. Where it happened, how it happened, they even were honest about trying to get an abortion. Then they had the nerve to ask him if he was interested in coming to live with them. His response was quick he merely said no. It wasn’t a violent no.

He just calmly said no and walked out to look out so that he could get to a place where peace and calm was abundant. There he thought of a life where he would be on a constant journey. He began to stare at the ocean and then came to the conclusion that he would never accept the love of his parents. For he believed that their love is pseudo love. He didn't like the love of his foster parents either for he believed that it was also pseudo love. Thus he came to the decision that he shall leave this place and find something that will show him real love and affection.

On his journey to run as far away from his parents as he could he ran into a woman. The woman was so stoic that he couldn't tell wither she cared about him or not, but he knew she wanted to help him. She could tell just by observing him that he was attempting to run away from home and make it on his own. She wouldn't have another hoodlum on the street. As a result of her not wanting this she ended up taking him in and nurturing him. Over the following year she taught him the ways of proper warfare. "Never stoop low" was one of her favorite things to say. She ended up giving him his own rapier, because he had grown such an elegant style and liking to the blade. He thought that she truly loved him, but sadly she wasn't able to have him live their any longer. So he left. Not crying, but with a single tear in his eye. "Wow I guess some of her personality rubbed off on me."

This is your first RP here, isn't it? Well, I am certainly impressed. I'd like to join your campaign...BTW, did you forget the Divine Dragon on purpose, or did it just slip your mind?

Name: Farath Lizion

Species: Human

Age: 16

Dragoon: Red Eye Dragon

Weapon: B-Sword

Gender: Male

Description: An average-looking young man, though he is far from normal, due to the fact that he has aquired strength and wisdom beyond his age. Standing at just over 6 feet, he has a slightly strong build. His arms are not long and lanky, nor are they short and stocky, but they are still pretty lengthy (long enough for him to behead an opponent with his long B-sword without getting into any immediate danger). As he is constantly training, he is constantly getting stronger. He has short, naturally spiky black hair, which he finds to be a bother, since he keeps trying to get it to lay flat. He doesn't have large feet. His legs are rather strong; he can send one flying if he were to kick out at someone in the gut with both feet.

Personality: He is a very serious young man, but he isn't yet battle-hardened past his emotions. He feels sadness, happiness, anger, and fear when he feels appropriate. When he takes something to heart, he stays with it until the need passes or till his untimely death; he hopes that it wouldn't resort to the latter. He helps those, old and young, in need of assistance. Therefore, when someone requires help, he will be the first to pipe up, even if it's beyond his abilities (at this point, his mother will step in and stop him). He enjoys friends, but he doesn't have many. When wisdom is at consequence, he is usually the one to speak, if one of the elders doesn't beat him to it.

History: He was born to a poor mother in Seles, while his supposed father was rich beyond measure; not that he gave any to Farath's mother, Marda Lizion. He still associated with Farath for four years after his birth, until a raid from Helena Prison guards came to "extract" the man who was Farath's father. At this point, all Farath was concerned with was his mother's safety; he could care less for the despicable father he secratly hated. The older ones shed a tear for the town, remembering that six years before, a similar raid from Helena had taken place and marked a dark time for the world. Finally, the dust settled to reveal that the men had killed Farath's father. This was no big loss, as he had been heartily disliked by all of Seles...save for Marda. She wept for a week, still in love with the despicable man.

Farath could not understand his mother's infatuation with the crooked old man, but he was still young; all would come to him with age. So then, he began to care for her when Marda could not. In this, he became not only strong in body, but also strong of mind and will. He would not stand for his mother to suffer, and eventually, suffering in general. He defended the village with culling the small monsters that occasionaly wandered into Seles and created chaos. This fell into a routine. When things became difficult, Marda and Farath would go for a small trek in the woods behind Seles, stopping when they reached a small clearing they dubbed as theirs. here, they would listen to the quiet sounds of the forest, choosing not to talk for a long time.

When he reached the age of ten, the new weapon master of Seles, a buff man named Garet, noticed how Farath had been behaving, and his skill with the Kitchen Knife he used to fend off monsters. Taking him under his wing, Garet trained Farath in the art of swordplay. Farath grew in ability quickly and easily, as if he were born to hold a blade. Two years afterwards, Farath actually bested garet in mock combat. farath insisted it was a fluke, but Garet conceded noetheless. As reward, Garet gave him the B-Sword he holds today. Farath thought of the sword as a protector or a shield, so in time, he named the sword "Proteja del Dolor," which literally meant "Shield from Pain."

He grew up, getting stronger and faster in his abilities, but always taking a little time to assess the situation. Then, four years after he recieved his B-Sword, he saw it: the monstrosity who called itself Ciserus, rise to power and began its quest to aquire the power of The Moon That Never Sets and the Divine Tree (As far as I remember, they are still one after the defeat of Melbu Frahma). Determined to keep any power from enslaving or destroying them, he set out to stop this evil from harming the ones he so dearly loved and protected.

There, I'm done. This should be good enough to get me in, but if not, then oh well.

I'll finish this later. I've not much time on computers anyway...
I am no noob. trust me on that one .you do realize the rpg is set 20 years after those events took place right? Nobody is going to be the divine dragoon. Although if someone RPs good enough I might consider getting it to them near the end of the rpg. make your history longer I have no idea why he trains. and personality less gary-stuish tell me why how he is far from normal and were did he get his sword? Make it so that I dont have to ask myself questions about your character. then I'll consider you a member of the actually none generic rpg.

I never said you were a noob, dude. I just stated that I've never seen you around here before. I was impressed by your work.

Also, I totally forgot this was twenty years in the future...I'll change my history around that fact. And as for the other things...If you had read the bottom of my post, I said I wasn't done and I'll finish it later. But now, I'll go ahead and finish it, and we'll see if I'm good enough.

sure Thanks for the support. I'll edit this post to let you know how you did.

EDIT: You spelt assistance wrong in your personality, but that doesn't matter just as long as it doesn't happen often. The last sentence in personality has the word don't where doesn't should be. That doesn't matter as long as you dont do that very often.

Overall you have depth. I like depth. So you are in.
