Default Fonts?

I was just wondering if you could make a function that would allow people to set defaults, such as font type, size, and color. I t would make a lot of people's lives easier, so they don't asdte 30 seconds every post putting in their font.

Feel free to lock.

This would be great, Gam. I wouldn't always have to change highlight my text and choose the text I want it in all the time.

That's an awesome idea, Gamabunta! The only reason I don't use different fonts/colors/sizes, is because I know I'd forget to change it one day. So, yeah, having a default font option would be great! [=

Ya that is a good idea, but ya G-blaze that's the same reason i don't do it otherwise i'd be typing in blood-red the whole time.

I used to make my fonts all purdiful (xP) and all color-coordinated with my avatars all the time, but since I change my avatars like a maniac my fonts and avatars that were once in sync with each other now look mismatched and distasteful.

For example, I'd use fancy Royal Blue fonts, then change my avatar to a blood red color. xP

Anyway, if you could to that, then I'd happily change my font to something more...un...Verdana...size 2...like. XD I think it's a great idea.

I would use a different font too, but it's too much work every time to change it.

well on my firefox fonts and colours preferences i just unchecked the box that said " allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selection above"
but that changes everyone's posts and every sites fonts..

According to Ryan two years ago, there isn't. I still believe that applies today.

And, as always, I think it would be an awesome addition. If there is a way to do it, you'd think Ryan would have done it by now. What with all of the requests for it...So, there probably isn't. Or he doesn't know. Or something. :/

Well, then maybe somebody that knows how to do it should tell him 'bout it. :D

The only problem I see with this is the clashing of font colors and styles, which is sometimes encountered already with the people that do have a certain font and color they use. If everybody does it, it might become hard to read some posts. But, hey, if you really want to read it, you could just highlight the post. :P

Anyway, I'm all for it. 8D
