How do you build a secret base?

OK. This is how you build a base:

1. Get Secret Power. It is impossible to build a secret base without Secret Power.
2. Stock up on furniture/decorations/posters/mats. The best places for buying these things are Fortree, Lilycove, Battle Frontier and Slateport. You can also earn stuff by doing special things on your journey.
3. Find a tree or indent on a rock formation. There are certain trees that can be found that have a lighter color than the other trees, ad are not found in cities, and can not be found bunched up with something that looks exactly like it. Can also be found in bushes.
4. Use secret power on the indent/bush/tree by pressing A.
5. Go inside and find a laptop.
6. The rest is up to you! If you want to change bases, you can find another indent/tree/bush, and repeat steps 4-5. The best base for starters for me is east of Fortree city, and stop once you see grass. When you see the bush (it's impossible to miss), and you have a Pokemon that knows Secret Power, press A. Not all bushes/indents/trees look the same inside. They all have limited space. If you ever see a whole in the floor in one of the bases, once you beat the chapion, there will be a sale once in a while on the roof of Lilycove city. The salesman has wooden planks for you to put down.

To make it more clear, Secret power is a Normal-type move that can be taught to any Pokemon.

Also, you are able to buy boards/planks from certain events (after beating the Elite four, look out for commercials about some special events), which can block some fissures in your base, to make your room even bigger.

at first it kept syaing i couldent place objects here and there, cuz i didnt have a rug/carpet to put them on, ya it sucked

to put it all simple there is a move called secret power teach it to a pokemon and then find either a pointy tree , wall with a hole or a lump of grass and if you have dolls or something you can decorate it:happy:

OK. People. You don't have too make this so difficult.
I'm going to try not to.
1. You teach Secret power to any PKMN that will learn it.(Available at Slateport)
2. Find a wide tree/square indent on wall/a long bush.
3.Enter find a laptop and start decorating.

Tips and info.
1. To cover the holes found in some bases buy planks at lilycove.
Note: you find the merchant after you see a commercial that says he is on the roof.
2. You need mats/tables/bricks to place dolls/cushions on.
3. You can get extra items by doing certain things in the game.
4. You can also get other items from your friends if you one of you has the item trader.
_He is 1 of the 6 strange people found in the Mauville PKMN center. You two will have to _mix records.
5. Only 1 secret base per game and only 16 items allowed in them.
6. If you mix records with a friend you will get their secret base. You can go battle them _and if you win you gat money and experience. If you lose then you don't lose money.
7 You can place cushions/dolls in your room by going to the computer and choosing the _decorate option.
