How do I know if im EV training what I whant?

Im EV Traning my Totodile hes lvl 15 with 45 HP, Which is what im training is that normal for a lvl 15 Totodile? and how can i tell if the stat is above nrmal HP is hard to tell.

you can't know. There's no record ingame for the EVs you've gained. The best you can do is write down what EVs you need and then train accordingly
