Pokemon Emerald on DS

When I play my Emerald version on my DS Lite when I enter a Pokemon Center it pause fer a second the resumes is this normal, and does it happen to you?

Yeah, that happens to me too for some reason. I guess it might be normal, then.

It seems normal enough. It is probobly pausing to load. I wouldn't worry too much unless it lasts for a long time.

Well theres a sigh of releaf thanks im sure it is then. It also happens to my friends, but his is MESSED UP so i was wondering if something was wrong with mine.

Yes, this happens to me on my LeafGreen Version as well. This just seems to be something normal that happens because the backwards compatability is not 100% perfect, i.e. it seems that it can lag slightly.

This happens with some of my old GB/GBC games when playing them on my GBA. The game runs a bit slow for a second sometimes, but it's never been a real problem, just a momentary lag.

It'll be nice when I can start playing LeafGreen on my roommate's SP, to avoid that lag: I'm only using my DS because of the backlight, since I have the original GBA.

It does because it happens to most people the lagg is mostly on ds i think ds gets it less then ds lite because i have both and it takes longer on my ds lite then my ds

O, that happens to me all the time. It really doesn't get in the way to much, but it does get pretty annoying once you have to walk in and out of the building more than once.

You sure its all the games? i play Sapphire all the time on the DS (original GBA :rolleyes: ) and it doesent do anything... :eek:

yup yup, to me, blacks out for a sec on my regular ds, then goes back on. :dazed:

its not only on ds. its just more noticable on ds because of the bright screen.
so theres eally no reason to bring this up....not to be mean. :confused:
this is also in firered and leafgreen.

I play Emerald on my normal DS, and, yeah, it does that. But I haven't tried it with a DS Lite.
