You need a special ticket to get to Faraway Island. It was given away at events, so now you'll need to gameshark it.

I got that Pokemon action replay, it gives you a Mew. If you want it added to your pokedex trade it to another game and trade back. Or try a normal action replay and look up a Mew code.

You Need The Old Sea Chart and Travel To The Faraway Island.
Use an Action Replay To Get It.

You need the Old Sea Chart and take a ship to Faraway Island. And to get the Old Sea Chart, you need to go to a Nintendo Event.....which I think is a big waste of time. So either use a Action Replay cheat device or a GameShark. Be warned, it may not obey you....... Instead, use a code that gets you Faraway Island, encounter Mew and catch it. It'll appear at lv30.
