It's very random, it's like getting a shiny Pokemon, it's all about luck. The chance is very small, so you'll just need to catch every Pokemon and see if any of them has Pokerus. Heh.

pokerus is a lot harder to get than a shiny it is realy tricky

Pokerus does nothing bad.....and it does not boost status. It only doubles the effort points that you've gained while battling pokemon. Only useful if you're effort point training. And if you put the infected pokemon in the PC, nothing happens but the virus is gone. It usually goes away in a few days.

Yea, and if the infected pokemon is left alone in your team, then your other pokemon will be infected, too. I've only gotten it once in my Gold Version.

You don't catch the Pokémon and have it infected right at that moment. And yes, they're impossible to catch, because they belong to a trainer(you). =P

I've heard that if you trade an infected Pokémon to FR/LG, it will stay that way because there's no clock.

Ok time to sum this up. I have known how to get this virus the whole time. Its just that i wanted to see if others knew but i guess not. You get the virus in ruby/sapp by battles in grass on route 102 where that kid caught ralts. Moves you do to k.o. the pokemon must be done by contact such as tackle,slash,ext. Also it takes hours to days and days so on. Now get out there and try it.

p.s Since your doing all those battles you could be doing a 2 in one seach since a shiny may appear while doing this.

Ok then know it all then how do you get it. Well who cares cause i already know i read how to get it off a game cheat site and when i spent hours using scyther's slash on route 102 he caught the virus. Also theres alot of pointless threads on here so cry about it.

Dude, you can get it anywhere. I've caught it twice (once on
Ruby, once on Emerald) and niether spot was on route 102.

Thats good thanks maybe now i will get more level ups since doing all that on route 102 doesn't get you that much exp.

Maybe it was another game. See, some games' shiny Pokemon look different than shiny from other games.

Edit: I checked Serebii, and I didn't see any black Zubats/Golbats. Either you are blind or don't remember right.

dude this thread is completely pointless. o ya and kids dont listen to anything a cheat site says bout PKRS/shinies/ any glitch in pokemon. eventually no matter how good or full proof the glitch is, it is goning to mess ur game up eventually. so dont cheat. and honestly who cares what color a shiny zubat is i mean its shiny either way. and if i can find a gengar in mt moon in blue version i believe anything is possible lol:biggrin:

I just bought my sisters game. I traded pkmn into it with pkrs like 1 yr ago.
only my Absol and Illumise still have it. Yes. My reighn of terror will continue.
