Editing Emerald Save file?

Does anyone know if one exists? Like for roms or something? I've not played any of the games since Blue and Red, and I've almost beat Sapphire, and have alot of great pokemon, and traded with some kids around where I live, and I have the best team ever. Now I have Emerald, and wanted to get to the point where I was in sapphire, but I can't do that from the GBA, so I got one of those flash things that turn it into a rom, now I want to know how to edit the save file so I can upload it back to the cartridge, and play from there. Which brings me to my question: does anyone know how to edit a rom .sav file?

Just trade. That what I would do. The ROM editing could mess up your game since they are 2 different games. And if you want them on both games, trade them over to your emerald, use the cloning glitch, and trade 1 copy of each back.
