Version Exclusive?

I don't know, I read that certain Pokemon are exclusive to each version of Mystery Dungeon.

For example, Lapras is exclusive to Blue Rescue Team.

Explain this to me, and does that mean you cannot actually get all 386 species of Pokemon?

you can. You just have to do a pokemon thats is a version exclusive. For Example, If u do a Porygon mission you can recruit porygon in the area he,s in. you also need to clear it, too.
