I think there should be a place to express displeasure against something safely or rant, and a place to put spam or stuff that dosen't fit in everywhere else.

It's been suggested before, and rejected. Honestly, if people need to rant, they shouldn't do it online. Second, spam just taints the forums image, and we try to keep this place as clean as possible.
