Question about Wii

Ok this doesnt really involve pokemon but how far does the Wii"s Wi-Fi go? My friend told me it was like 80 feet is this true?

If you've got broadband internet, it's pretty much unlimited. I dunno about the direct wireless, though.

oh like i have a router that goes like 50 feet but i just wanted to know how far the Wii goes so i can know where to put it.
