View Full Version : Should I...
I have a few really long stories on my Mircrosoft Word(spanning from 20-30 page stories with just 12 font)
I was deciding on posting them here but there a re a few problems i'm concerned about:
-My grammer sucks. You will understand what i'm saying but for those who point out the missing commas and stuff i suck at that.
-I didn't really organize them into chapters or anything.
-Then for some reason i feel something bad will happen if i post them.
So what do you guys think. Should i post my stories or no?
EDIT: Nvm i realised its Pokemon fan-fic only so could a mod lock this?

Reread your chapters for mistakes, organize them into readable standards, and that would be fine.
Yeah but all of them are non-pokemon related.
So now i'm just waiting for a mod to lock this.

You can post non-pokemon fanfiction and original fiction here. There's a board/subboard for each of them. As for you stories being long - not really. 20 or 30 pages is still classified as a short story as with aproximately 400 words per page. 20*400=8000. That's still a medium sized short story. At 12 pt. font, a good novel (60000+ words) would be 60000/400= 150 pages.
Personally, I would suggest getting someone to beta them. There's a beta company here, as well as on most of the other major pokemon forums, and most likely whatever other major forums particular to your fandom (which I'd guess is LOTR).

Yeah, we have Beta readers that would be willing to read over the story for you.
And yeah, 20-30 pages isn't that long. We've had fics spanning over hundreds of pages.

Over 100 pages? geez and my freinds think that my stories are long.
Well i might send one or two to a few beta readers and have them read it over since i don't have alot of time to read them over.

Yeah, you should definately have a beta reader look over it, they really help.

That's already been pointed out...
Doesn't word attack you with insane green wigglies if you have grammatical mistakes though?
