Intimidate

Does anybody know if Intimidate cuts your attack for the whole batle, or does until you faint the intimidating pokemon?

That'd be kind of retarded if your pokemon's intimidated by and pokemon it already fainted :susp:.

I'm guessing that the Pokemon that Intimidate is originally used on, it's attack is cut for the battle. But if you knock it out, I say the others don't get effected.
It doesn't matter if it's a Special Sweeper anyway. ^^;

The attack cut is cancelled when your intimidated pokemon switch out. Also, if the Pokemon using Intimidate faints, it doesn't cancel the attack cut, unless you switch out.

Intimidate is the equivalent of a Growl effect. It lowers your attack by 1 stage automatically upon being switched into battle. IT does not affect pokemon who has the Clear body trait.
