Today, I went to a math competition at the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy [IMSA]. I sucked. Hard. Moving on...

I picked up some admissions info. It's a high school for grades 10-12, and it's a boarding school. It offers great classes, and kids who go there go to colleges like Harvard and Yale and whatnot. The classes are great, and there's a Nobel Laurete who lives ON CAMPUS.

There's some problems though. For one, I'm not sure if I want to go to a school that focuses on math and science (not my strongest suits). I mean, I'm not sure if that would matter, as the school I want to go to (Bradley University) has one of the highest admittance rates for IMSA students. IMSA also doesn't have a very strong drama program, and I'm one of those actor types, so I would really miss that.

There's also the issue of never seeing my friends. I mean, I know that I should do what's best for me, and I would probably make friends, but I would miss everyone SO MUCH.

Grr. Advice?
