The GSC games are very underrated. I believe that they are at least at Par with DP if not a bit better.

In Crystal? You can only get it without catching the dogs in Gold and Silver.

Oh, my bad, I only have Gold and Silver and have only caught Ho-Oh in Gold...in fact, I thought you could only catch Lugia in Silver and only Ho-Oh in Gold, kinda like Dialga and Palkia in the new ones?

Yep, the Gameboy Advance system's game slot fits both GB and GBA games. :)

I do wish I had either Yellow or Gold or any other RBY/GSC
They sound like fun GBA Games.

I hope everyone else has fun with theirs :DD

Does anyone here know how to get Snorlax with double-edge on crystal? I've looked in the official guide but the only egg move listed is lick.

Doesn't seem like it can be learned in Crystal itself.

However, Snorlax learns it on level 48 in RBY so you could trade a Snorlax that knows it from there to Crystal if you wanted it. Seems like that's the only way.

You can also trade it to RBY, and teach it Double Edge via TM10, which you can purchase in the Game Corner iirc.

I am about to get Silver in the mail so I cannot wait! I sold my Crystal but I did not know how cool it was at the time. My team will be in soon! I know that Miltank is going to be in it, though....

Just means the game's battery is dead.
Figure this one out: Time doesn't pass in my Crystal game anymore unless it's on.
Goodbye daily events!

Well, aside from the fact that this is Red, Blue, Yellow, Gold, Silver and Crystal we're talking about, in which there were only one hundred and fifty one or two hundred and fifty one Pokemon in each dex. So, obviously none of us have done that because it's impossible.

But, if what you meant was whether I completed the dex on either generation, the answer is yes. I completed it on Blue, for the first generation and Silver, for the second generation.

Good day.

that must have been really hard to do and i applaud you for that sir. i havent done it on any generation

I FINALLY got my dex to 250 in Silver (gee, only eight years after I started the game) and just about cried when I found out there was no gameshark-less way to get celebi. ;_;
so cruel...

I still have ONE of the Celebi I got from the 7 flags event in St. Louis close to 10 years ago.

I had 11 of them. The event was not too busy by evening, so they let people who'd been there all day put their games in the kiosk and transfer multiple times.

That was the best event I ever went to, including some of the later ones in New York, Milwaukee and Florida. Pikachu was there, and I got some pictures, and the pikachu volkswagen and the Lugia car were there -- they were brand new (at a later event in Des Moines IA, I got to sit in the Pikachu car and trade pokes with one of the event managers).

The St. Louis event included a lot of games and quizzes, prizes and there were a couple other adults there who were into pokemon. Did a lot of battling.

The reason I only have one Celebi left is starting last night NONE of my Gold or Silver games had the original save files on them -- they reset. They had been there the day before.

Silly, I know, but on midnight every year I've always broken out stadium II and my G/S/C games and several of us play and beam mystery gifts.

Nobody's Gold or Silver save files were there -- crystal seems OK.

Gonna post about this in it's own thread, but we are all seriously bothered.

I completed only Crystal version's Pokedex. I had the Japanese version at the time, and I was able to do that cell phone GS ball thing using my mom's cell phone of course. XD That's like the only way I got Celebi (shiny too, lucky me)

Of course... that's all in the past. My Crystal version's save file died and all I had to say was "good thing HG and SS released~!" XD

Anyway, I had Silver, Gold, and two Crystals; JPN and ENG.

Silver Team:
Meganium F
Skarmory M
Ledian M
Raichu F
Azumarill M
Pidgeot F

Gold Team:
Feraligatr F
Ursaring M (traded from my Silver as a Teddiursa)
Togetic F
Umbreon F
Espeon M
Jolteon M

Crystal Team (JPN):
Feraligatr M
Raichu M
Flareon F
Houndoom M
Piloswine F
Suicune (lol I was a noob)

Crystal Team (ENG):
Typhlosion M
Umbreon M
Vaporeon F
Magneton
Furret M
Noctowl F

XD I was such a noob back then... but at least I raised my own set of teams without some legendary in there, well minus Suicune. I hated chasing that thing around, and ending up fighting it in the Tin Tower. >_>

I loved the fact that you didnt have to Ev Train your pokemon in these games. It was more about moves and typing. Also how could you forget the night and day appearances.
