RS contests

ok.. iv'e tried NUMOROUS times to win any master rank contests.. and i've talked to the museum curratoir and ive won and gotten 5 hearts in a cool and tough contest and i haven't got a pianting of a my pokemon...

so i need some help with movesets and Pokemon, preferabaly just move sets and stratigies...

Well, I finished them yesterday, and I used these:

Cool- Swellow- Double Team, Agility
Beauty- Milotic- Surf, Dive
Cute- Latias- Water Sport, Refresh
Smart- Medicham- Mind Reader, High Jump Kick
Tough- Mawile- Stockpile, Spit Up.

These are what I used and won with.

And for the Hearts and Stars, you need 6 of each for a painting, not 5. Hope this helped!

Thanks DR, one thing about that though, did you only use those moves?
you didn't use anything different for the fith turn?
One more thing about pokeblocks
does it matter when i give them to a pokemon?
and what berries should i use?
I use the Wiki, Figy, Iappapa, Augave, and the Mago berries

Yes it does! These are their natures they must have and which Pokéblocks you should feed them:

Swellow- Lonely, Adamant, Naughty,Brave- Red Pokeblocks
Milotic- Modest, Mild, Rash, Quiet- Blue Pokeblocks
Latias- Timid, Hasty, Jolly, Naive- Pink Pokeblocks
Medicham- Calm, Gentle, Careful, Sassy- Green Pokeblocks
Mawile- Bold, Impsh, Lax, Relaxed- Yellow Pokeblocks

If you feed them Level 23- 50 Pokéblocks, you'll be fine. And don't foget to give them the scarves to improve their chances!

For the 5th turn, I used the same move I used the first time. So, use their first move I gave.

I think you need at least six hearts to get a picture. I don't remember. Anyways, here's some strategies for beating the contests:

Beauty: Mild/Modest/Quiet/Rash Wobbuffet
~For the first 4 rounds alternate between mirror coat and safeguard. On the fifth turn use Destiny Bond.

Or what i used was a Gyarados with fire blast, blizzard, dive, and dragon rage
~use fire blast/blizzard. If last use dragon rage. I have dive in there in case i predicted the opponent would try a move that would lower my score.

Tough: Relaxed/Lax/Impish/Bold Regirock/ice/steel
~Start with curse then use superpower, then curse and superpower again. On turn five use Explosion. For explosion you need to take them to the move tutor.

Mine was a Regirock cause I don't like them much and i figured I'd use my rock instead of "ruining" a Regice or Steel.

Cute: Hasty/Jolly/Naive/Timid Pelipper
~need to use the move tutor again. Start with water sport and then use water gun. use water sport and then water gun again and on the last turn use water sport.

Cool: Adamant/Brave/Lonely/Naughty Pikachu/Raichu/Manetric
~If you go first use shockwave. If not use quick attack and then shockwave. continue until the last round and then if you are first use shockwave if not thunderbolt. if you have Manetric or Raichu use hyper beam instead.

Or what I used was a Swellow with quick attack, aerial ace, hyperbeam, and double team.
~Use quick attack or aerial ace depending on weather you're first or not and then hyper on last turn. Double team is kind of just in there like with Gyarados.

Smart: Sassy/Gentle/Calm/Careful Castform
~Start with rain dance. Then use weather ball. Use this combo again and then finish with hidden power.

Also make sure to max out their beauty/cuteness/etc with berries and give them the appropriate scarf from the guy in the Pokemon Fan Club in Slateport City.
The guy will only give you the scarf if your beauty/etc is high enough so just max it out. As for the berries, here's a list of some great berries to use:

Beauty: Pamtree. To get it you must tell the berry master's wife (house is on route 123) the phrase "CHALLENGE CONTEST"
Tough: Belue. Tell wife "SUPER HUSTLE"
Cute: Watmel. Tell wife "OVERWHELMING LATIAS"
Cool: Spelon. Tell wife "GREAT BATTLE"
Smart: Durin. Tell wife "COOL LATIOS"

These berries are "A" class berries and will produce Gold blocks when mixed at 100 RPM or higher. Gold blocks will raise two qualities equally instead of one quality being raised less than the other. You can use other berries but these are the best and can easily max out a stat.

I have a pokemon moveset for the Cool contest:
Salamence:
Drangondance, Drangonrage, Dragon breath and Hyper beam..
any improvements i have to make?

That could work. Dragon dance, rage, and breath are all combo moves which is what you really need to do for contests. Simply doing dragon dance and breath for a combo (rage if you're last on that turn) and finishing with hyperbeam sounds like it could very well work.
