Put him to sleep, and keep trying. If you get really furious use you Master Ball. Thats what I did.

I just keep with the ultra balls. I'vs caught Moltres with a pokeball though, and Mewtwo and Articuno with great balls. You just gotta keep at it. I avoid using masterballs as long as possible.

In R/B/Y TM45 is Thunderwave, but in G/S/C, I don't think there is. If you're in the Kanto region yet, then the Thunderwave TM is north of the Nugget Bridge and is not hidden.

If you dont have a Master ball use an Ultra ball, either should work but if you so use a Ultra ball make sure hes weekened...a lot!

Well, putting it to sleep would help a lot and of course a master ball...

Another good idea would be to use a heavy ball. Kurt makes those from some kind of apricorn.

Putting it to sleep and using a Fast-ball would be the best method.
As Raikou's first priority in battle is to run Fast-ball should be more effective than Ultra ball.

Exactly what he said. Also remember to make that Gengar have Mean Look so you can trap that giant gerbil.

Have gengar sleep, and if you have a level 80 or higher pokemon, switch to it and use a Level Ball. Your chance is still a piddling 5% (8 if Entei is asleep), but it's better than the 2% your ultraball and fastball will have.

Oh, and btw, Greatball and Pokeball have approximatley 1% chance of catching entei.

Your luck sickens me... I faced a level 15 rattata, took it to one hp (go false swipe!) and put it to sleep, and it STILL ate up 15 greatballs like they were candy.

try holding b+a when the pokeball opens, i caught my suicune at full health doing that! but it is extremely difficult to get the timing right, so bring alot of ultra balls, or find someone with duplicate master balls to trade.

Catch a golbat, and make it learn mean look. Mean look prevents the foe from running.
Raise golbat to about Lv 67-75. That will let golbat stay alive for as long as you need:biggrin:

Ultra ball, heavy ball or speed ball should do the trick.

I'd go with Pika and Oni. Get mean look than just keep chucking ultra balls at it...oh yeah get false swipe too it helps a lot.

The best tatic is to keep trying with Ulta Balls and putting him to sleep. If you get really annoyed, then just throw the Master Ball at it. Just the usual stuff.

Use shock wave and paralyze it, or sleep powder.
