People been wondering about how to get an Umbreon/Espeon on Pokemon Emerald Version. I had the same question too. Then i saw answers and found the real one. Ok let me put it in simple basic steps ( I hope you can understand ). This DOES NOT involve cheat codes or hacking use. This is the simple and non noobie way to get Umbreon/Espeon.
1.) The Start
Unfortuanately you cant get eevee in Pokemon Emerald so you need a Pokemon Fire Red or Pokemon Leaf Green. Also it will be tough because you need to do the Elite Four stuff and the Sevi Island thing to be able to trade pokemon over to Emerald
2.) Making Eevee Happy
There are different ways to do it. Trust me it takes alot of patients and time. Make sure you train the eevee on the time you want it to be. Alof of people tell me about the time thing. But when i tested my evolve forms of eevee for Umbreon and Espeon. Umbreon is in AM and Espeon is in PM. Ok for the training part.
How i did it was put it on first party slot and train it the take out pokemon by pokemon way. ( Hey this is my reasonable way but your pick if you want to do the exp. share idea )
There is a lady in Verdanturf Town ( far bottom left house ). She will tell you if your eevee likes you ( make sure its on first party slot )
Ok here are ways to make eevee like you
- Get experience ( i do the take out pokemon by pokemon way )
- Winning Pokemon Contests
- Pokeblocks ( Some might raise happiness ) [ Thank You " the " For The Info ]
- Put it on first party slot ( i can be wrong but that was my way )
- Berries
Pomeg Berry - HP
Kelpsy Berry - Attack
Qualot Berry - Defense
Hondew Berry - Special Attack
Grepa Berry - Special Defense
Tamato Berry – Speed
note : When it says for example " Eevee turned friendly. Special Defense did not fall!
Then you want to stop.
Ok Here are ways to make eevee HATE you ( lol )
- Making Him/Her Faint
Ok there are stages when the lady tells you. When it says eevee likes you a tiny bit ( you want to go more ). If she says Eevee likes you alot. Babied it little more ( your getting warmer for an Espeon/Umbreon )
3.) The Time.....
Ok after all that hard work and training. Go to the lady in Verdanturf Town again. If she says, " It seems to be very happy. It obviously likes you a whole lot " then that means you need to level it up 1 more and there you go. BUT if that does not work then keep making it happy till the lady says " It Adores You. It cant possibly love you any more ". Then that means it is for sure it will become an Umbreon/Espeon. NOTE : Make sure you check the time before doing it so you can get the pokemon you want. Remember, AM is for Umbreon and PM is for Espeon. After that is done you got a Umbreon/Espeon. If you try to do the egg thing where you think the egg will hatch a Umbreon/Espeon it wont. When i try to hatch an Umbreon egg it came out with an eevee, same goes for Espeon.

Special Note : People believe in the use of cloning an eevee so you dont have to go through the process to get another Umbreon/Espeon. Well i got to say they're wrong. Glitches like that can lead to bad effects for your game. I got word that my friend cloned his pokemon and his file was suddenly erase when he reset the game on one of his cloning process. If you want to make sure that you dont want your game to be glitch or put at risk then plz follow these instructions for each Umbreon/Espeon you want. Go ahead and clone but if your game is erased or glitched then its not my fault. I do not allow cheats/codes discussions on this thread. Please follow my steps using the non glitched way.
