Yes you can, you just need an Eon Ticket to get the other.

You can get both of them. After the Elite Four, you will go home and anwser this question on televison at you local home. You will awser Red or Blue? Once you have anwser the question, whatever you have chosen, will be the different when you go to Southern Island. And that is the way you get both Latios, and Latias.

Yeah, but without access to the Eon Ticket you need to trade.

just to add to my mistake, Eon ticket isn't really necesary, since oyu can just mix records with someone who has it. But seeing how rare those events were, i'd say chances are quite low

anyway, this was answered and therefore it's locked
