A stupid question about rare candy

Im training some pokemon in emerald for my diamond (15 days yahoooo) and the question is if i use rare candy on my pokemon would that make them weak?

Actually it isn't really a stupid question but it has been answered in the sticky found here (http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/forum/showthread.php?t=253). The answer is as long as your pokemon is fully EV trained then you can use Rare Candy without stat-loss.

Really it doesn't make your pokemonweak it just doesn't appy its ev stats so only use rare candies when your done ev training your pokemon.

Actually, there is no stat loss.

When a Rare Candy is used, stats go up as normal based on their IVs and base stats.

EVs add extra stats, and Rare Candies don't add any EVs to your Pokemon.

So therefore, Rare Candies do not induce stat loss when used.

No they sorta don't.

Rare Candies do not induce stat loss. Your stats only go up as normal.

EVs are extra.

If you max a Pokemon's EVs at LV 50 and use Rare Candies to get it to LV 100, it's stats will be the same as a Pokemon trained right through to LV 100.

Therefore, Rare Candies do not make you lose stats.

Hey! This is my first message and yeah listen to the he's on big pokemon fan! Since we're talkin about about getting rare candy, he's right there is no stat lose and if you wanna do a legit way to get lots without a gameshark, train yourself a lot of pokemon with the pick up ability and raise them. Although it's rare they still get a chance to pick up a rare candy. In about 3 hours I had around 15 rare candys with my meowth team of 5 + the guy I was raising. Probably all like but w/e its all good. Well peace out!:cool:
