I was training my Marowak at the same time as having EXP.Share on a Ninjask and also Bping just to make things quicker. I then noticed that the Sub was gone, I hadn't been hit, I used someone hit me and "The Substitute took damage for Marowak". Heres what happened, I used Bonemerang and as you do with 3 Swords dances, I made the Pokemon faint with the first hit, and when that happens with any 2+ hitting move when you make the Pokemon faint with less hits than you were going to do, the Sub is still there, but it is not shown, you even attack strait away afterwards. Here is why: when you switch the Pokemon picture to attack, it is set to go back in between THE END OF THE ATTACK and when that 'BOOM' sound is made that shows whether is SE, normal or NVE. In this way, when an attack such as Bonemerang only hits once, THERE WAS NO END OF THE ATTACK so you still have a Sub, but it does not appear so. This worked on Sapphire, please tell if it works on any other game that you try.

Try it. It's funny.

Okay, so, let me get this straight.

1.Baton Pass Subsitute onto any pokemon with a multi-hitting attack(Bullet Seed, Fury Swipes, Etc)
2.Use the multi-hitting attack.
3.Faint the pokemon in one hit. Even though your SUB is still there, it won't reappear.

Right?

PP is correct. However, i don't see the point in a discussion thread for a glitch that only causes the sub image to dissapear. Therefore, this is locked
