Old man with door that is locked

I've been wondering about this for quite a while but anyways...

What i know is that in some town (i can't remember which and i'm not gonna go look it up, i'm too lazy) there is this old man alone in his home. You go in and talk to him and he says that he would like to go and travel like you, but he says he is an old buzzard and his only amusement is watching young trainers battle. You finish talking to him and go to the back wall of his house and there is a door that is locked. I have ALWAYS been wondering what is behind that door and how to get the key and and....yeah.

Ring a bell? Anybody? Anybody?

WHAT THE HECK IS THAT DOOR FOR AND HOW DO YOU OPEN IT AND GO INTO THE PLACE THAT IS LOCKED?

It's in Lilycove City. You need an E-Reader and R/S Pokemon Battle E-Cards. If you scan the cards you'll get to battle different trainers behind that door.

Actually it's found in Mossdeep, though the rest of what you said is right. He can be found in Sootopolis instead in Emerald, but we don't have the cards for that version outside of Japan.
