ok, when it appears when you attack it either attacks or runs (a small % chance of it attacking), so get a wynaut/wobbufet higher than lv30 and you might just be able to catch it, you'll have to teach wynaut/wobbofet good attacks or you might make it faint. hope this helps

no, unless u r in for wasting a master ball, it's not the proper way at all, u need to do something to prevent their fleeing, and the pokemon u suggested have nothing like mean look or arena trap

The pokemon he mencioned do trap pokemon with their ability.Anyways if you don't have those pokemon you use masterballs on pokemon that run (Lati@s,Entei) and not on pokemon that stand still (Rayquaza,Kyogre).

Both Wynaut and Wobbuffet have the ability Shadow Tag which prevents the opponent from fleeing. By the way, Arena Trap won't work on Latias and Latios because they have the ability Levitate.
