Yes, it's worth it's own thread because there's enough Pokemon who suffer from it too. So post here for talk about Pokemon who suffer from it.

Absol loses Shadow Ball (He gains Shadow Claw, but it's a bit weaker).

Shedinja loses Shadow Ball, and because he got STAB, that one actually hurts him.

Charizard won't be Dragon Claw-ing as much or at all.

Alakazam won't be element punching, but he does get Energy Ball... But it's Grass, so it might be a bit harder to exploit.

I think there's just as many Pokemon who suffer from the split... I know you guys will want to mention some too.

No, the elemental punches are now physical, and Alakazam's attack is crap, thus, Alakazam with elemental punches = now crap.

Houndoom suffers from Crunch. Since most of us would use a Modest Houndoom, and Crunch is physical... But it's common sense that Crunch should be physical.

Houndoom gained Nasty plot and has Dark pulse to make up for the lack of Crunch. However, Pursuit being physical now is what hurst it the most as Houndoom was a great Pursuit user

My beloved Sceptile loses Leaf Blade, I think. :(

I'm going to have to look for another decent Grass type now.

The move is Energy Ball, that can be taught to Sceppy through TM.

But yeah, I really love Leaf Blade! The animations are so cool.

Hmm... The new Ghost types suffer from Shadow Ball switching type to aid Gengar, I think.
The pure Poison types now lose Sludge Bomb to the Grass/Poison dual types.

And Sharpedo and Houndoom definitely.

I would really hate Alakazam losing power, why can't they take out those physical punches, and give him other special moves?

Psychic, Shadow Ball, Grass Knot. Holy crap, I guess I only have to use Alakazam for Tricking.

Now on FR I'm going to have to change the way my Alakazam is being trained.

Alakazam is a little weaker without elemental punches, you're right...

Slaking lost Hyper Beam as it's now a special move. He was the only one who could really use it since he had to miss a turn anyway...:susp:

You can still use Giga Impact. But if you have alot of friendship with Slacking, you can give it Return instead.

If the elemental punches are physical is fire, electric, and ice type moves still special? I would hate it if they all turned physical...:goofy:

Slaking loss, Hyper Beam? Wow.

For the 100th time, you can still use Giga Impact, what is the big deal?

Just because Slaking could use it so well. I mean he got STAB on it, his like 500 attack, and hyper beams high base power.

Bump.

I'm only bumping my old threads because I thought they'd be more useful now that the games are actually out.
