Totodile?

I heard that I can get a Totodile in Emerald. How do you get one? Does it have anything to do with your original starting pokemon?

Yes, you can. If you get the National Dex, then complete your Hoenn Dex,
Prof. Birch will give you a choice of either Chikorita, Cyndaquil, or Totodile. ^^;

Well, completing a pokedex is not a bad thing. You could show off your friends, and in fact, it is what people call completing the game.

Haha yeah I suppose. But you probably just caught the easier 100, which means it's gonna get harder. If you have a Link Cable, all the other Pokemon games and another Gameboy then that would make your job slightly easier.

Wow, I didn't know you could do that in Emerald. I need to tell my friend tomorrow (I only have Sapphire wile he has Ruby and Emerald). That is if he didn't delete my PMD game by accident then I'll just have to torture him.

I have 168 pokemon owned in hoen and 200 in national lol and I say Chimico is REALLY hard to get I need to get one now!

Its not hard if you can sit for 1 hour and do it :oops: I got lucky and found mine in 15 min.

Getting your R/S/E pokedex takes a while. I put over 50 hours trying to find specific rare guys in the game. Yes, it does take a long time but it's worth it. It's the only legit way of getting it so have fun :happy:

Chimecho, and Bagon definitely.
Finding a Bagon's not hard, but finding a female is extremely hard. It's worth it though, when you can breed to get a Dragon Dancing Salamence. :biggrin:

I'll tell you, trying to get a Duskull in Sapphire was torture. In Mt. Pyre's top three floors, where it's apparently "Very Common" according to my guide, 21 of my 25 encounters were Shuppets. :susp:

i beat the game with my Pokedex complete and i got Totodile in like less then 25 hours... although it didnt take me long since i beat it like 100 times already.... but it wasnt hard for me to find any pokemon like Bagon and Chimecho ^^
