Unbeknownst to most, there is a small, nearly uninhabited city at the edge of the Pokemon planet. The little city is called Koriko Island. It has only been discovered recently, with no human inhabitants. Nowadays, a select few have moved to the island, hoping to make their children one of the first Pokemon trainers, coordinators, or breeders of the area. Although there is a large populace of Pokemon, they are still wild without the guiding hand of humans. Now, to answer the hopes of the few families that moved to the remote island, a school where young trainers are taught has been opened. The students will be instructed by former trainers, coordinators, and other people who work with the Pokemon in the world. Of the few children who live on the island, almost every one of them are applying to this school.

6. No Mary-sues or Gary-stus.

Ryan, waiting to get off the ship was very excited. Too many things to be exited about: he had a new egg, he was about to start school, and he was about to start a whole new life with his new Pokemon. There was nothing to hate about it. Nothing to hate at all, not even one to hate about his life. The ship was also relaxing. Many people helped make his pleasures come true. So far in the ship he: got a shiatsu massage, ate a gourmet meal, and wasted fifty dollars on the video arcade. He knew his father back home in Celadon would pay for everything. He didn’t want to leave the ship at the same time he wanted to go to the academy. It was extremely fun, but he knew the school would be fun also. But when the announcer guy would call for them to leave the ship he would have no choice.
“Children entering the Koriko Academy please take a schedule with your name on it from the front desk and get off the ship. Thank you for riding S.S Anne.” A girl said on the announcing system. She told all the kids to leave the ship. Those children including Ryan.
Ryan got off of the seat he was sitting on and ran to the front desk. He flipped through all of the schedules just to get to the R section. He picked up the schedule that was labeled Richardson, Ryan C. He looked at the rest of the schedules and saw most of the other ones on the floor. Looking at them, he saw a ship worker and jumped off the ship. The little boy ran to his dorm looking for room number three-zero-four. He entered. It was a pretty good room, good in shape and had most of the things Ryan needed. It had a bathroom, a bed, a mini-fridge, an awesome television, and a closet to hold Ryan’s clothes. “Awesome room. Let’s watch some good old television.” He clicked on the TV. It had some decent channels. Ryan checked his watch then. It was twelve o’clock. An hour until class started was enough time to get some breakfast. He clicked off the TV and ran outside his dorm and locked it making sure no one will rob him. He then went downstairs to the 2nd floor in the cafeteria, which was filled with other students. He grabbed a tray and went in line. He grabbed the foods from the shelves and had his meal. He had pasta, a few bananas, some salad, garlic bread, and canned meat. He ate and cared for his egg. He knew life in the academy would be great.
