Winner Of The Lilycove Pokemon Contest!

In the episode "Pokemon Contest! Lilycove Tournament!",
May and Kanata have a Contest battle, May using Combusken and Kanata using a Grumpig. Grumpig had a big advantage type-wise against Combusken. As the full time buzzer goes, Combusken has a fuller bar than Grumpig.
May wins the Lilycove Pokemon Contest ribbon!!
She now has a total of 3 ribbons!!

Wow, that's great! I'm glad that May's Combusken is showing true power, especially to a Pokemon that had the advantage of the battle! I congrat May for both battling and winning a Contest Ribbon!

I don't get it on how May wins on TV. I got to use combo moves to win contests like that. Also if May won in Lillicove, how does her Pokemon get framed if she didn't win the other 3 contests? Far as I know, May lost one, then won one, won another one, lost one with Bulbasaur, then wins this one. Isn't May like 3 and 2 in contests? If she won in Lillicove, what about the framing of the Pokemon? TV needs to tell a better story from Ruby/Sapphire and follow the game format more.

There are loads of differences in the TV show and game. I prefer the TV show Contests to the RSE Contests.

Yeah, you have to realize that the Game and Anime compare in many, different ways. Those two should never be compared, because they have very little in common. But, I'm glad she won. ^_^
