Ok in this thread you will come here to see if anyone here is willing to battle you or wants to find some people or random people to battle Via Wifi on Pokemon Diamond and Pearl.
If you dont have Wifi then try your best to get it because this is mainly the whole point of this thread. Also if you really want to battle people online then get a move on.
Wi-Fi is a brand originally licensed by the Wi-Fi Alliance to describe the embedded technology of wireless local area networks (WLAN).
Some people may have Wifi at home. To find out you should have:
---Via a broadband Internet connection into a single router which can serve both wired and wireless clients
---Ad-hoc mode for client to client connections
---Built into non-computer devices to enable wireless connectivity to other devices or the Internet
There are some disadvantages though like---Wi-Fi networks have limited range. A typical Wi-Fi home router using 802.11b or 802.11g with a stock antenna might have a range of 45 m (150 ft) indoors and 90 m (300 ft) outdoors. Range also varies with frequency band, as Wi-Fi is no exception to the physics of radio wave propagation. Wi-Fi in the 2.4 GHz frequency block has better range than Wi-Fi in the 5 GHz frequency block, and less range than the oldest Wi-Fi (and pre-Wi-Fi) 900 MHz block. Outdoor range with improved antennas can be several kilometres or more with line-of-sight.
Now I dont have Wifi yet but Im getting the adapter and this explains what it is---A wireless adapter allows a device to connect to a wireless network. These adapters connect to devices using various interconnects such as PCI, miniPCI, USB, ExpressCard, and PCMCIA.
