and as you can tell I don't like american bands very much, anybody recommend one that has a style similar to M2M? no yelling (heavy metal) or poetry (rap) please =)

yeah, pretty much the big 3 of Japan =)

and Koda Kumi is Korean, isn't she? or does she sing in Japanese? I've never heard much of her (only 1000 words and the meaning of peace duet w/ BoA) so I'm not really sure..

oh yeah, that's the correct way to spell evanescence, I believe =P

Kumi sings in Japanese, if I recall. To the least, the songs I have that's done by her are all Japanese.

Linkin Park. O.o

*points to sig* b= Muse are my current favourite band, and for good reason. If I were to write down all my favourite artists, I'd be sitting here for the next 10 years, so... 70s/80s/90s/modern rock/metal. O.o Queen're probably my favourite oldies.

Maybe you all haven't heard of this band yet, but Michael Learns To Rock is one of the best out there. At least that's what I think. MLTR has market in Asia, Africa and some parts of Europe. Their songs are not what words can describe. Listen to some of their songs http://www.mltr.dk/content/discography/19_love_ballads/index.html , you need RealOne Player though, there's a link to download it on that website, and no, look around in that link, because it's not the 14 days trial one. Listen to "That's Why (You Go Away)" especially, I fell in love with this song the moment I heard it. It's a really, really good song.

Another band I like is Westife, but they're almost history anyway... But they've carved a mark in the English Music History, no doubt.

A few other bands I like are Evanescence, Aerosmith, maybe a couple of songs of Maroon 5(Particularly those that made them popular...This Love and She Will Be Loved).

Don't really have favourite singers... Phil Collins maybe? Haha, I'm a fan of older singers...

EDIT: Oh yeah, Shael, you haven't been hearing enough mandopop(Mandarin Pop, in case you were wondering). Jolin Tsai can't sing at all... She sells by her looks...but her looks are fake anyway(Plastic Surgery). More quality chinese female singers would be Stefanie Sun(Haha...She's from Singapore, but she's recognised as the queen of chinese music anyway), and Zhang Huimei(She...she...god, if you listen to her old songs, you'd know how she carved a beautiful mark in chinese music). Male singers like Jay Chou, David Tao and Jacky Cheung are pretty good. Jacky just released a compilation recently, maybe you'd like to travel to Taiwan or something to pick some albums up and shop around? Heh.

I don't like Steriogram that much, I've got their album, and I find it rather lacking in lyrics and quantity. I wouldn't have minded waiting a few more onths for a few more songs. Come on, 12 songs/36 minutes? I should have brought Deja Voodoo's Brown Sabbath.

12 songs in 36 minutes!?! I'm shocked, I didn't realise it was that short.

I've only heard 2 songs of theirs anyway, but they still rule.

They've got maybe 3 decent songs (White Trash, Walkie-Talkie Man, Go) on the album and a couple of terrible ones (In the City, ugh). The least they could have done was include a remix/live recording CD with the album and put Sing the Night Away on it.
