Locuta. They say that the name for this world was because it was the single location in this plane of existence that supported life. But that would be something that I wouldn't even know myself. I've always wondered why this is the place I landed in, but certainly this is the product of what I was fated to become. As they say, history repeats in cycles.

Dakoius and Harminia are always at odds with each other, it would seem. Strangely enough, it was because of this tension between the two countries that the world here is fit for a person like me. I have already died once myself. And my heart died more than once. This world is a perfect place for me, or to the very least, this decaying city. The city of the living dead.

We are the living dead. Most of us are composed of bandits, thieves, murderers, and evangelicals. Organized crime is a common attribute to this world. Heck, I have yet to see anyone who didn't belong to a single group. Even I myself had to align with a small company of 5 who dealt mainly in smuggling neurodrugs across the border or dealing them around here. In either case this is the hell that the living dead wished for.

My name is Arthas Yurza, resident of Dakoius, former acolyte of the darkness.

But this story is not about me. No, my story ended while I was still in another world. No, this story is about the life of two men in their struggle against each other. This is about the battle between Hollance and Fulgh, probably the most epic story on this side of the border.

So I've been trying to flesh out the first short story of this series. Here's what I have so far. Was wondering how people feel about something like this.

The first story is done in Fulgh's POV, 3rd person.

The very beginning is an interaction between two people, though it's pretty evident who is one of the two.

It shifts to Fulgh's POV at the police station, where he looks at his target (Hollance) and describes him. I'm thinking that he'd probably head to the place where his needle pointed him to scout the area out to set up his traps and what not.

So I was thinking about this entire short story to be strictly about the encounter between the two people, and Fulgh's attempt at catching Hollance in the act. This act is undecided, but I'm thinking likely forbidden spells or the neurodrugs I've talked about up there.

I have not worked out Arthas' role in this story as of yet.

I've already decided on the outcome of this encounter though, but I'm just wondering on how cliche this plot is at the moment.
