View Full Version : Buying an used Ruby/Saphirre catrige..adv. or disav.?

OMG...First of all, Hi. It's a pleassure to be on this forum, I hope we all can talk a lot, about things, pokemon, ect...

Well, I quitted playing pokemon since Crystal, and when I heard about Fr/Lg, I went crazy, and my pokemaniacs senses awaked. Anyway,I though; What's the point to buy fire red if I can't have all the 386 pokemon? So I bought Colloseum, and went to buy Ruby. I saw a used catrige, 10 below the price, and I said "F#@4 with it" and bought it too. The first thing I did, was check the already saved data on the game, and the pc. And you wouldn't believe what I founded...

A box called "LEGENDS" and it had. Lugia,Mew,Celebi,Jirachi,Mewtwo,Suicune...ect (on a very low lvl). The only legendaries that it didn't had were Latios and Latias. But, I don't have a game shark(I'm not used to cheat). But, you know there are many pokemons that are almost impossible to get legally in america. So, I decided to keep them... But the best of all, the game only 10$ below the price. If that's not a good deal...I really dont know what a bloody good deal is ^^U.

That means that you had the national pokedex two dosen't it?

Sure he did, like I said. But I can't really blame on him. I actually live in Puerto Rico, and if there's a pokemon special event to get one of those certain pokemon, here we are not lucky to be able to get it... So I kinda understand him/her. I'm against cheating a little, like infinit master balls and things like that. But if it's used to get those certain pokemon, It's a valid reason...for me.

And how far were you in to the game?

And the game was after the sixth badge.

Man you must've been pretty lucky to get a second hand cartridge with all those awesome pokemon! It just shows that second hand doesn't mean second best, lol.

So yeah, I wondered too why other non R/S pokemon don't appear in the pokedex. Is there another pokedex or something?
