I've been reading Serebii's updates every day and this game gets better with every one! Also, I told you all that they were a trio, but you said no. Go to the link below an now see whose right:

(...and the beast will fight when along came a trainer braver than all to awaken the third to stop fighting and calm the world, back to the sea, land and sky...) -I'm a little weird'd out cause thats the same exact way I've always imagined the story. (I mean ya go Ruby, ya got Sapphire, but how would they combine to different stories with different teams and Pokemon, not to mention the TV series. I guess you can't go wrong with 2 trio set, for hevan sakes there are about 135 Pokemon in this set why not?! And of corse they only have 1 Pokemon so far for the 4th generation, so they need something to do to keep ppl happy longer, a second story to tell. Well as much as I can sit and type about all the resins why nintendo would do things different than beffore I can't right now, but maybe later.)

Quickly? FR/LG's been out since January in Japan...it's not THAT quick.

I just found out that the following legendaries are catchable in Emerald Version:

-the 3 Regis
-Groudon
-Kyogre
-Rayquaza
-Ho-oh
-Lugia
-Deoxys
-Latios OR Latias (your choice; ONLY ONE)
-MEW

There are also move tutors (like in FR/LG, but they teach different moves)

Jirachi can be gotten from Colosseum with Bonus Disk (Unobtainable here in Europe ¬¬), 3 Beasts (Not Dogs; Lions and Tigers are felines) can be gotten in both Colosseum and FRLG, 3 Birds from FRLG, Mewtwo from FRLG, Mew from Emerald, and Celebi is so far unobtainable; Maybe its a clue that there will be a GSC remake? :P

Eh... Too bad we'll never see more than half of the Legendarys...

Everyone has, so really the reason that they're giving out all of the legendary' is because they don't want the gameshark/action replay people to get any more money than they already have.

It says when you complete the Hoenn Dex, not the national dex. So that's the 200 pokemon, not all 386. Jirachi and Deoxys aren't included in the pokedex because Jirachi's impossible to get in Emerald and Deoxys has a ticket.

I disagree (thought, FYI, I thouht R/S was great). There's so much more in Emerald that I can see it being much better than R/S. Wireless capabilites, Battle Frontier, over 100 new catchable pokémon (including Mew)...what more do you want? (and don't say "a game with a new Region, and over 100 NEW pokémon", because we all know that that's just irrelevent)

Wireless capabilites, Battle Frontier, over 100 new catchable pokémon (including Mew)...what more do you want? That is irrelevant. I still dont know, it is the story line that matters, not the pokemon, wireless capabilities, or any other stuff like that. IMO, a game is only as good as its storyline, unless its brainless fun, like SSBM, Perfect Dark, and such. Pokemon, as we all know, is NOT brainless fun, you must think to get better. And I dont feel like thinking on a game that couldnt even give a good storyline to. Every time they make a pokemon game, the storyline is watered down more and more. The only thing left in R/S was a watered down team rocket, Gym Leaders, and your rival, which sucked. I liked spending more than fifteen minutes beating the whole enemy team. Saffron Tower? Fun. I like to go through and beat the crap out of everyone there. Which is why it's great they remade the only games they took any time on the storyline for. Because it does not matter about quantity, but quality. When I played R/S I felt like I was opening a YGO booster pack, all fillers and a couple good cards they actually put thought into. I am sure you know the feeling Zam. I am pretty sure that isnt irrelevant.

Actually Zam, there is no "new team", and no attempt at catching Rayquaza is made.

NOTE: The following may spoil Emeralds plot for you, so do not read if you'd rather find out yourself.

At Mt. Pyre, both Orbs are gone, so you gain the Magma Coin (Which allows access to Team Magmas Base in Mt. Chimney). After Aqua steal the submarine, you raid Magmas base (And watch Maxie awaken Groudon, who had been sleeping in the volcano), before raiding Aquas base in Lilycove. You then follow Aqua to the Underwater Cavern and watch Archie awaken Kyogre, before heading to Sootopolis (Where you see Groudon and Kyogre battling). After that, you meet Wallace in the Cave of Origin, then go meet him at Sky Pillar (Which by the way, has no cracked tiles this first time), before heading up to awaken Rayquaza. Upon entering Sootopolis again (Be it by flying or diving), you'll be greeted with another Groudon/Kyogre battle scene, but this time round, Rayquaza appears making both G/K run. After that, you are free to head back to Sky Pillar and catch Rayquaza before the Elite 4 (Still at Lv70), but as you probably know, Groudon and Kyogre are not obtainable until after you've beaten the Elite 4.

I might upload a Video of Rayquazas appearance within the next hour, for those who want it...

Well, I know I thought there was a new Team when Emerald was first announced, so you're not the only one. Anyway... The Video starts after Rayquaza has been awakened, and you return to Sootopolis. After the video, all that happens is the screen turns white and you're returned to Sootopolis (You speak to Maxie and Archie by the Gym then you can challenge Ardan, Sootopolis Gym Leader). It's a little disappointing this sequence lasts for only over a minute or so... But even so, it's still cool, and the music is spectacular. Due to its quality though, the .zip is 6.27MB (Which is great since it's about 50MB uncompressed). Download, watch, and enjoy. :P

True. And yes. In the Tools menu, under the "Recording" option, you can record Music (As .wav file), Videos (.avi files), and a special VBA Movie, which I believe is very small in filesize, and acts like the .avi movie, yet requires a VBA to play.

OK, the way I see it is, FR/LG came out in Japan in January right? It came out last week for us here in Australia, so, I'll be waiting another 9 months for Emerald... :susp: How long did FR/LG take to get to America? Cuz that'd be how long Emerald will take. Well thats what I recon anyway

Compared to other games, Australia did well with the Import.

It came out here (Australia) on the 23rd of september. In America, It was released officially on the 7th. Unlike Metroid: Zero Mission, which took about 1 and a half months after the American release date, Australia got these pokemon games after only 3 weeks in America.

Pokèmon games have a huge appeal in the market, because they are popular, or more popular then others, hence why some games aren't even released here, depending on the popularity of games in America, and Japan.

As for Emerald, if it Brought out on say...1st of February, it'll be here in Australia by the end of the month.

Either way we still have those nasty months of waiting. If only i understood japanese, then i could import. Oh well, I'll let the translators do their work.
