I have a Modest nature Roserade in level 52.. his stats are..

Attack-80
Defense-71
Sp. Attack-199
Sp. Defense-122
Speed-111

I already used all 255 EVs on sp. attack.. so where should i EV train him now?

I'd do defense since it's so low. May want it too be able to take a hit.

Do Special Defense and the rest in Speed/HP but in my opinion, Speed > HP but defenitly special defense.

So you think i should do 128 in sp defense and 127 in speed?

Pretty good, but I would make Special Defense about 150 but if you don't want to, then that is a good EV set in my opinion.

But like previously said, his defense is so low that he might die in one hit!

So then what should i do! Theres really not much i can do about his defense since his base defense is 55.

I would put most of the Sp. Def ones into his regular Def. You don't really want him in against a fire or psychic type anyway and you'll be boosting up his speed. He'll be able to get the first hit on water (maybe) and kill in one hit with his high Sp. Attack. Water attacks aren't good against him anyway.

He probably can learn hyper beam (now special). Would be powerful.

Just checked serebii, he can learn it, you sure its a sp. attack?

And he's not going to die in one hit because the only attack type that i think is super effective against him is flying and he wont be fighting against them anyways.

Absolutely, Hyper Beam is now a special attack!

I'll think about it but with his low defense he would probably die when he recharges!

With fifty-five base Defense, it's already going to die after one physical hit. Now you know why I don't like it.

That's true, but for non grass special attacks he can learn you're kinda tapped out.

I dont know i might just ev train his speed and sp defense.. im not gonna bother with defense because its only 55 base anyways

I know this is really small, but you really shouldn't put 255 evs into a single stat, but put 252, 252, and then 4 into another since you only get one point at level 100 for every 4 evs.

What is EV?
EV=Effort Value

Defence. Your worst nightmare will be a Weavile with Ice Punch.

You guys are kind of stupid..you only think about his defense.. but if you have high speed with a dominant sp. attack he will take anybody out with one hit..

Who knows how many times this will have to be stressed, but focus on Speed since she'll need it to effectively sweep without excellent HP and/or defenses.

It's far from being invincible. I think you could find a much better special sweeper, but that's my opinion.

Not to mention Roserade has a difficulty switching to a good amount of Pokemon due to its not-so great defenses and HP.

If he has low defense cant i just only use him when there are sp. attackers out so that way defense has nothing to do with it?

In game, maybe not. In people battles than yes, that's a good plan of action.

Cause i was thinking..maybe if the attack is not super effective i wont die in one hit..so i was thinking what attack type is super effective against grass..i can only think of flying.
