well the swarm just makes it easier to get if dawn/lucas sisters or the tv says so, and it has a low catch rate so be prepared

Everyday, a random kind of Pokemon swarms in a certain place. I finally got a Beldum yesterday and wow, it was hard to catch!

If you check with dawn's sister, in sandgem town, she will report that a bunch of beldum have been found on route 228. You can check for new swarms once a day.

Oh snap thanx and I can just use a Master Ball to catch a Beldum.

Yah, why not, you can use a master if you want.
I'd just stock up on Ultra Balls, or use the Dusk Ball method.

When it swarms it's fairly common. Not too hard to find.

But it is still hard to catch. Beldum has a catch rate of three. Palkia/Diagla have a catch rate of 30. so you have slim chances.

Its like 40% chance to find it when its swarming. But like the guy above me said, its got the same catch rate as a normal legend(as in Mewtwo, Kyogre, Rayquaza, ect.). Took me at least 10-15 trys to catch one probably.

And it only knows take down so it might get itself fainted before you can catch it so be careful!

I caught my beldum with one ultra ball. If you have a gengar 55+ use it to put it to sleep/weaken it, and then capture it. Gengar is one hell of a catching machine, thats why I love it. Hope you find this helpful.
