Refs and Graders

All the time when I start a battle or finish a story I have to wait a certain number of days till I can ask if it can be graded. Also I have to wait to ask for a ref. Maybe I'm missing something here, but people should be allowed from the beginning like as soon as I fonish it I should be able to ask for a grader to grade it right away. Not wait because no one ever grades it or knows it needs to be graded till you actually ask for a grade. I know the fact that graders and refs have a live and want to have fun on the forum, but still. So like I already said my case here is that people should just for graders or refs from the beginning.

There's a reason for this.

There are always battles and stories waiting for refs and graders.

If you post your story right away, your post becomes the most recent, making older ones, of LONGER waiting stories, less visible. Thus the waiting period.

Also, sometimes it isn't busy, and all stories/battles are graded/reffed without needing to request this. Then, we don't want requests clogging things up if everything's getting graded the same day it's finished and all.

It's a little thing called having patience, there may be periods of time when Refs/Graders aren't on the forum for days at a time (Shocking isn't it) thats why we have the report a battle and Grade request thread for when refs and graders forget/aren't around.

Patience
an ability or willingness to suppress restlessness or annoyance when confronted with delay: to have patience with a slow learner.

And trust me, PMing them is VERY annoying.

As I say to all people who moan about refs and graders, become one and see how easily it is to fall behind.
