A Sneak Peek at the Pokemon Official Magazine for the UK!
-09/28/04-

It's the world's first official Pokemon magazine, and it will be available in the UK on October 1st, 2004. The magazine will be published quarterly in the UK and is priced at £3.99.

The launch issue of the Pokemon Official Magazine will feature 92 pages on everything Pokemon. Three free gifts will be included with the magazine: 6 Pokemon fridge magnets, a double sided Pokemon mega poster, and a 3D Charmander model.

Editor Tim Street of Pokemon Official Magazine, who is also the editor of the popular Nintendo Official Magazine UK, had this to say:

"There has never been a better time to launch this title; fans have demanded it for years, ever since the very first Pokemon phenomenon swept the globe at the turn of the millennium. The appetite for Pokemon has never waned - just look at the amazing sales success of the Pokemon Ruby & Sapphire Game Boy Advance titles last year."

Pokemon Ruby and Pokemon Sapphire sold 3.3 million units in Europe last year, clearly showing the strength of Pokemon even to this day.

The magazine is released on the same date of the launch of Pokemon FireRed and Pokemon LeafGreen in the UK, on October 1st.

*A special thanks to Tim Street, editor of Pokemon Official Magazine, who provided Pokemon Elite 2000 the information and images for this news story.

Book stores like Barnes & Nobles, walden books and Borders usually carry import magazines, I often see several UK video game magazines(and still have all the free gifts and what not). So i bet you will be ble to find it there. The price would probably be around 11$

(posted it here aswell for people who won't check both threads and will ask the same question)

The UK has many Pokemon Magazines (One of my favorite being Pokemon World), yet none of them are Official. And Jeikobu, why is it that only America get Pokemon events? (Same things stated in the other thread)
