View Full Version : Pokemon Emerald coming out in 2005

I know you've heard the questions of when it's coming out in such many times. When they say it's coming out in Q2005, do they mean it's coming out between January and March of 2005? Let me know on this. I'm putting my guess on February for it's a 'sweeps' month. Took me 3 weeks to be done with Fire Red.

I think you mean "Q12005", because "Q2005" doesn't mean anything >_<. "Q" Stands for Quarter, so yes, IF Emerald is coming out first quarter of 05, it'll be between January and March.

My guess is between January and May. And maybe in May, we'll know something about the next game :happy: , probably will be called Pokemon DS.

NO! (Sorry for yelling, but I have to correct you; this is very important.)

The "next" pokémon game is NOT going to be on the DS. Nintendo has already expressed that the DS is not meant to replace the GBA, and is thusly not its "next-gen" handheld, if you will. There be a DS Pokemon game, but it won't be the "fourth-gen next poke game after R/S/E" game we're all wating for.

Thanks for correcting me :happy: , but I don't believe that the Nintendo will release one pokemon game for Nintendo DS and another for GBA. You may play GBA games on Nintendo DS, maybe the next game is for GBA, but may use some Nintendo DS potentiality, who knows?

What proof have you of this? If the next generation of handheld gameboys isn't the Dual Screen, then what is it? And for that matter, why would they be making all new cartridges that won't fit in a GBA? They have to be the next generation of handhelds. Also, what generation of Pokemon games will be on the DS if not the fourth one?

Just curious as to how or where you got this information....
