Straightforward EV Questions

1.) How do you know if you've maxed out EVs for a certain stat?

2.) If you have maxed out EVs for that stat and u get more EVs for that stat, are they recieved or do they just go away?

3.) Do items like iron/calicum/hp up contribute 2 one's maximum EV?
I heard youc an only use 10 of them but they dont contribute towards 1's max.

1) You can't. You have to keep track of your EV training
2) You'd be wasting EVs. After you have 252 for a stat, the rest become useless
3) What do you mean max EVs? And yes, you can only use 10 vitamins for a single stat

1) The woman in the Sunnyshore (sp) seal market will give your leading pokemon an Effort Ribbon once it has maxed EV.

2) Like Lucavi said, they'd be a waste.

3) Vitamins contibute 10 EV to a specific stat, and only 10 of a specific vitamin can be fed to a pokemon. This way, no more than 100 EV can be received in a specific stat hrough feeding vitamins.

Just a comment: This only happens once you got 510 EVs (max). If you want to know about a particular stat, there's no way to know unless you write down how many EVs you've given to your pokemon
