I traded over my normal Suicune from FireRed to my Emerald so I could clone it and uploaded a Suicune from my Emerald. It still shows up as Kanto on the summary screen in Diamond.

According to Psypokes.com, you can't get a Magmar in Hoenn unless you hatched for one somehow. The only way to catch a Magmar is to catch one outside of Mt. Ember in LG.
