How old is Ash?

When the series first started, he was 10, and when he went to the Viridian City gym, he said it's been a year since the first time he went there, so he would be 11 then. Since that was around 80% through the season I think, I estimate that a little less than 3 years go by after around 2 seasons. So I'd say he's around 20 years old :eek: .

Can you question my logic :oops: ? Do any of you know the actual age of Ash?

It would make sense that he is a little older than 15, since he started his journey at age 10. In about...1994-7 or something. Of course, that's just when the Anime started from my memory at about 8 AM... >.<;

Edit: Besides, we know he's not 10. The new voice actors made Ash hit insta-puberty, so um...he's at least 13. xD

Well he said to picachu it had been a year since they met and that was mid Johto, so if you judged it like that he is about 13.

Whell I saw the first seson in japanese and whaen Ash had 2 badges he said he was traveling for 2 months so when he gets a badge a month passes so do the math he could be something around 13 or 14

He's gotta be at least 13 or so because in one of the eps during the battle frontier, he acknowledged that years had passed. It was the ep when he had Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Pikachu and Charizard out in the forest so he "could get back to his roots" like Brandon [Battle Pyramid head if that's not his name] said that doing that kinda stuff was good.

Pokemon started about 11 years ago, ash started when he was 10, so I just consider every pokemon annyverisy ash's birthday because he's the main charcter throught the entire series, they should do a spin off with max.

Well Pokemon started when I was born..the anime. So Ash should be around 19-20...

But Logicly he's 15, and anime wise he's around 12-13.
