Get Wish on Umbreon, since even though it takes an another turn than Moonlight, that allows you to heal your other teammates, thus making it a good support Pokemon.

i would leave Flareon or Leafeon out of your team. I suggest at least 1 attacking move for umbreon.

I would suggest bumping Flareon off, as it (in my mind) is the least useful of the Eevee evolutions.

Alas, I cannot get Wish on this Umbreon. He does currently have Bite, but I feel that Flareon or Leafeon could Bite for more power, plus there's Shadow Ball. Umbreon's there to stall, then stall, then stall... you get the idea. He has such a low Attack that there's little point in him having any at all. Besides, Toxic does the job quite well. Should I drop one of his moves for Confuse Ray? I currently have Confuse Ray on him, and it's fun to watch opponents attack themselves while Toxic whittles away their HP...

Ideas...

Flareon
Bite
Fire Fang
Return/Giga Impact
???

Jolteon
Thunderbolt
Thunder Wave
Shadow Ball
???

Leafeon
Aerial Ace/X Scissor
Leaf Blade
Swords Dance
Grasswhistle/Rest/Wish/Charm

Espeon
Grass Knot
Psychic
Shadow Ball
Calm Mind

...whew! I'll probably raise all seven and alternate depending on my mood. Even harder is going to be thinking up all those nicknames! (I'm a Naruto/.hack fan, if that isn't obvious.) Any help is well appreceated!

I suggest either Leafeon or Flareon:

Kick Leafeon- The Annoyer / ToxiTanking job or Umbreon would most likely be obstructed by bringing a Steel Type out (since Ubreon has no attack moves). Flareon in this case would be most beneficial in bringing down the Steel type, unless it's dual Rock or Ground in which case I'd go with Vaporeon. Also, Leafeon brings 4 weaknesses to the table (Bug, Fire, Ice, Flying), and it's strengths are already covered by Vaporeon (Rock, Ground) and Jolteon (Water)

Kick Flareon- The nice thing about Leafeon is it's 350 max Atk and a substantial base 95 Spd. It makes for decent sweeping, but only against very selective types. It's movepool however seemes to make it more geared towards Tanking (especially with it's Ability) but that only works to its fullest after getting some BP'ed help from its party. The problem there is, in an all -eon party, BP'ed help is hard to come by.

In conclusion, I'd kick Leafeon.

Got_Ganlon, I have got to get you a Ganlon Berry for all of your help. But no wifi...

Poor Leafeon...
But truth to be told, I've tried raising two and they don't seem to make the cut. Could just be me though...

Okay, Let's start with Flareon. I know Fire Fang is a must. I'll throw Bite on there too. Now what? Return could be great, but what aught to be his last move? Adamant or Jolly?

Jolteon has to have Thunderbolt and Thunder Wave. Timid or Modest? Wait... I have a Timid Jolteon...

Espeon can cover Grass with Grass Knot, as well as Ghost and Psychic moves. I think Espeon is all set, but she's going to need an item and EV distribution. Also, Timid or Modest?

I'll have to breed those Eevees soon. Last note- are there any Egg Moves I should try for on these three? My other Eevees already exist, so they ca't get egg moves...

Have you thought about a Baton Pass team? I would really like to see that off NetBattle...

Silver Senmurv

Who could Baton Pass what? Maybe Jolteon could BP Agility? But I'm not really good at Baton Passing, though there are some people who live by it.

I made the most Uber Eeveelution team.

Jolteon@LEftovers
Trait: Volt Absorb
EVs: 252 Spd/ 252 SAtk/ 4HP
Timid Nature (+Spd, - Atk)
- Thunder Bolt
- Hidden Power [Grass]
- Agility
- Baton Pass

Vaporeon@Leftovers
Trait: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 HP/ 116 SAtk/ 140 Def
Calm Nature Nature (+SDef, - Atk)
- Substitute
- Surf
- Acid Armor
- Baton Pass

Umbreon@LEftovers
Trait: Synchronize
EVs: 252 HP/ 152 SDef/ 100 Def
Bold Nature (+Def, - Atk)
- Toxic
- Wish
- Mean Look
- Baton Pass

Espeon@Wise Glasses
Trait: Synchronize
EVs: 252 Spd/ 252 SAtk/ 4HP
Timid Nature (+Spd, - Atk)
- Psychic
- Shadow Ball
- Calm Mind
- Baton Pass

Leafeon@Muscle Band
Trait: Leaf Garud
EVs: 252 Spd/ 252 Atk/ 4HP
Jolly Nature (+Spd, - SAtk)
- Swords Dance
- Leaf Blade
- X-Scissor
- Baton Pass

Glaceon@Leftovers
Trait: Snow Cloak
EVs: 252 SAtk/ 116 Def/ 140 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, - Atk)
- Ice Beam
- Shadow Ball
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Baton Pass

Sometimes ditched Glaceon for:

Flareon@Muscle Band
Trait: Flash
EVs: 252 Spd/ 252 Atk/ 4HP
Adamant Nature (+Atk, - SAtk)
- Fire Fang
- Yawn
- Flail
- Baton Pass

Whenever you are low on health, you can BP of to Umbre, Wish, and BP back. Yawn on Flare is a really nasty surprise. :D Eventually, you'll have all six stats maxed out, which is fun.

Silver Senmurv

Never thought of a Yawning Flareon. Suppose that makes it a surprise. I wonder if Jolteon could BP Agility to Flareon or Glaceon to help them Sweep...

No BP on Umbreon, Vaporeon or Glaceon though. Already have them. But that does look to be the ultimate Baton Pass team. I only fear for the Critical Hits...

Eevee Egg Moves:
Charm
Covet
Curse
Endure
Fake Tears
Flail
Tickle
Wish
Yawn

Eevee level up moves:
Tackle
Tail Whip
Helping Hand
Sand-Attack
Growl
Quick Attack
Bite
Baton Pass
Take Down
Last Resort
Trump Card

Mainly to spark some ideas on my part. What about Tickle? Heh heh...

Jolteon dies before BPing Agility. That's why I prefer this set:

Jolteon @ Petaya Berry
Trait: Volt Absorb
Nature: Timid
EVs: 252 SAtk/252 Spd/4 Hp
- Thunderbolt
- HP [Grass/Ice]
- Baton Pass
- Endure

Endure an EQ and sweep with Thunderbolt or HP.

Wicked team Leman, worth competitive play.

But I hate using them for only Baton Passing. I like this Leafeon:

Adamant Nature
+Atk IV Characteristic
Life Orb Held
EVs: 252 Atk, 252 Spd, 4 HP
- Leaf Blade
- X-scissor
- Dig/Aerial Ace (Dig is risky but covers Fire weakness)
- Swords Dance

It's much more fun than the generic BPers, and it's actually quite strong. Adamant means chance for 350 Atk.

I have a Leafeon I can cosider raising with that move-set. I might end up leaving off Jolteon because of it's poor defenses and moves. I think a Muscle Band would be less risky than the Life Orb. I'll probably save that for Flareon. Or should I give Flareon the Choice Scarf/Band? Or should I leave off Flareon? I think I've been thinking too much... my head hurts now.

I need a Fire attack though. So I should keep Flareon. Owww... major Eevee-team-thinking-induced-headache...

Flareon is the weakest overall, I'd say. Bad movepool, low Speed and Defence.

Yeah, but it's really cute. Well, I suppose one member of my team can be a pokemon not descended from Eevee. But what? On another note, here's my idea for Flareon's moveset:

Bite
Fire Fang
Yawn
Tickle

Not the best... maybe I'll swap in my Ninetales... but what fire type would look like it belongs in an eevee set?

Edit: I'll update my first team post thing to reflect the additions.

Leafeon and Glaceon never learn any moves that are worthwhile to their stats so I would use Glaceon and teach it tms like Ice Beam

Not an Eevee, but what are the merits of using Manectric? He can learn Flamethrower, which is weird and cool.

Kenny

Manectric gets Flamethrower? I don't believe it. It couldn't learn it on RSE.

Silver Senmurv
06-07-2007, 12:05 AM
Brrr... This is giving me a headache. I must keep Glaceon, the thing has near-perfect IV's and is very pretty. And Umbreon.

Should I use Substitute or Confuse Ray on Umbreon? I need a psychic-type but Espeon only covers what all the other Eevees cover. I might try to re-breed Vaporeon, so it will now be able to get Wish and Baton Pass. So here's a revised version.

Glaceon @ Focus Sash
Bold Nature
Ice Beam
Water Pulse
Shadow Ball
Mirror Coat

Question- can a 30 IV Glaceon, if trained right, be moderately fast?

Umbreon @ ???
Impish Nature
Toxic
Mean Look
Confuse Ray/Substitute
Moonlight

Toxic Trapper/Tank. The bane of almost everything.

Vaporeon @ Leftovers
Bold/Calm Nature
Water Pulse/Surf
Ice Beam/Baton Pass
Substitute
Aqua Ring/Wish

A Tank that can heal itself and its teemates.

Leafeon @ ???
Adamant/Jolly Nature
Aerial Ace
X-Scissor
Leaf Blade
Swords Dance

Physical Sweeper. I personally love this guy.

Manectric @ ???
Modest/Timid Nature
Shock Wave/Thunderbolt/Charge Beam
Flamethrower
Roar/Hidden Power (preferably 60+)
Thunder Wave

Special Sweeper who can take care of what some of the others can't.

Sixth Spot Open. What should it be? It has to be something that would fit into an Eevee-themed team. I think Manectric does. What else?

What element should Manectric's Hidden Power be?
Does this team stand a chance in tournament battles?
Am I asking too many questions?

Guys what about the Move "Trump card"

You know you can breed that move and make it learn it at Lv. 1
and Evolve it. There ya go, no less stat boost.

I have Trump card and it pretty much Pwns when Spite'd or Yawned.

I happen to play an eeveelution team and have them all trained as we speak. I love them all and have a hard time deciding which one to leave out but they all get air time just about all the time.

Check mine out.

Famfrit - Vaporeon
Modest Nature (+SPA, -ATK)
EV's (255 HP, 255 SPA)
Surf
Toxic
Acid Armor
Baton Pass
@ Leftovers

Acid Armor passer, as well as a significant possible surf sweeper, plus the toxistall. Many uses.

Belias - Flareon
Adamant Nature (+ATK, -SPA)
EV's (255 ATK, 255 SPE)
Fire Fang
Superpower
Willl-O'-Wisp
Baton Pass
@ Life Orb

Physical Sweeper, and a powerful one at that. (421 ATK, 225 SPE) Can WOW for the burn and the half atk, and can BP out of sticky scenarios.

Adremelech - Jolteon
Timid Nature (+SPE, -ATK)
EV's (255 SPA, 255 SPE)
Discharge
Signal Beam
Agility
Baton Pass
@Focus Sash

Agility passer, as well as another powerful special attacker. Very useful, and honestly never left out of the team.

Zeromus - Espeon
Modest Nature (+SPA, -ATK)
EV's (255 SPA, 255 SPE)
Psychic
Hypnosis
Calm Mind
Baton Pass
@ Wise Glasses

Special Sweeper, as well as a possible Calm Mind passer. with a 419 SPA, it one shots quite a lot, if not sleeping it first...

Zodiark - Umbreon
Careful Nature (+SPD, -SPE)?
EV's (255 DEF, 255 SPD)
Payback
Curse
Baton Pass
Wish
@ Leftovers

Curse and Wish passer, as well as one of th best walls in the game... Payback can deal pretty nice damge after a Curse or two...

Zalera - Leafeon
Adamant Nature (+ATK, -SPA)
EV's (255 ATK, 255 SPE)
Leaf Blade
Synthesis
Swords Dance
Baton Pass
@ Muscle Band

Semi-Sweeper, but mainly here as a Swords Dance passer, as well as a semi-decent physical wall... Has great synergy with Flareon...

Last but most definitely not least...

Mateus - Glaceon
Modest Nature (+SPA, -ATK)
EV's (255 SPA, 255 SPD
Blizzard
Hail
Charm
Baton Pass
@ NeverMeltIce

Pretty Simple. Ev's to cover special defense, charm to cover physical, hail to cover accuracy, and blizzard to sweep. Glaceon's 130 base SPA is nothing to mess with. My personal fav of the special attack-eon's...

As one can clearly see this is a Baton Passing Team, but each passer can essentially function on its own if necessary. The team can paralyze, sleep, burn, and poison... as well as hard hit in 8 diffrent attacking types... (their six plus superpower and signal beam) The team is highly effective and they're all very dependable. I hope the sacred eevee and its many strengths serves you as well as I!!

Make a new thread, don't bump someone else's.

I'm lazy to analyse atm, so I'll let someone else do the honours.
