The Inheritance Trillogy: The New 6 Riders

I Have Decided to make a RP about The Inheritance Trillogy. I know that there is still only the first book out but I think that my RP will be okay, I mean who ever heard of a book where the good guy(s) don't win? So anyway This is set about 100 years in the future from when King Galbotorix was defeated.

About a 100 years after King Galbotorix was defeated, and peace reinged over Alagaesia, Eragon was growing old and could not fight like before, he had decided to find five new Riders to take up the mantel. He collected 6 new dragon eggs and used magic to enhance the abilities of every dragon resting inside them, so every year their whould be a ceramony at the City, Doru Areaba, and every year everyone whould get to pass by the 6 new eggs and run their hand over them, if it glowed for a second it whould be given to the person who made it glow because that whould be the only person the egg whould hatch for.

One year a man passed the eggs and a Black one with white Marks glowed, after the Ceremony a great feast was made honering the man, and he was trained for a couple of years till he could fight well with his dragon, but this man was a great sorceror, and one day he summoned spirits to do his bidding, and they controlled him and his dragon, he had become a shade, and his dragon, was no longer the dark purple it began as it was a sleek black. Soon he began to terrorize the townspeople, and had soon captured monst of East Alagaesia, He became Tryant in a matter of 12 years! Soon when word of his comming to Doru Areaba, Earagon was sent to flee, along with his dragon Saphira, and 5 swords for the new riders. Earagon headed to Palancar Valley, and waited to start a search for the new riders.

In the battle at Doru Areaba, it was overtaken, and as a last resort, Ayra and a some other Powerfly Magical beings sent the eggs in the direction of whomever could cause them to hatch. You are either Eragon, the Shade(You can describe him), or any of the New Dragon Riders.

Extra Info:
*Dragon's and their Dragon Riders live forever, if they arn't killed.
Only Elves, and Humans can be Dragon Riders.(The shade is a exception)
*The 6th egg was Psychic, but it is now Psychic and now it has darkness powers.
*All the Dragon's can use other powers, only they are much weaker then the dragon with that as the main type.
*Yes, I did tinker this story a bit to my needs!
*The Blades look magnificant, and they have your Dragon's color stone in the bottom of the handel, and the metal is tinted that color also.
*Magic is powerfull, it drains your energy, and if your not carefull can kill you.
*You must use the ancient laguage's words to control the magic.
*Dragon's start out the size of your forearm and never stop growing.(In a few months it can carry about 3 people.)
*The Shade is very powerfull, he do stuff that whould normaly kill you 5 times over.
*Dragon Riders are more powerfull then Sorcerors, Normal Shades, Witches, Wizards, and elves. (The Shade is a Shade and a Dragon Rider so he is more powerful then normal Riders.)
*Every Person Has a Common name and a True Name that is in the Ancient language, that only your closest friends, and family should know.
*If you know the true name of something you can get compleate control of that thing if you use magic with it.
*The Elves native language is the ancient one, so they can translate for you.
*You get a Silver Palm if you touch a dragon hatchling, It is where you channel your magic through. This is called the gedwey ignasia, the symbol of the dragon riders.

I stared at the sun as it rose above the trees. I had traveled long and hard to get to this point. All my short life I had wished to find my place in life. But I still was tierlassly searching.

I watched as the sun set the sky on fire with its beautiful rays of light. Mixes of red, pink, and orange danced across the sky. As I looked on to the city that lay ahead. Daret lay a ways off. Waiting in the early morning light.

Looks: 5’9” Curly, medium-length, auburn hair with green-hazel eyes and tan-brown skin. Wears a regular linen tunic, breeches a fabric headband, and tough leather boots.
Personality: Tiana is a tomboy, who is a fast learner, loves to read and have fun, but is still very levelheaded. Her hobbies are singing, reading, carving, and on occasion, cooking.
History: Her father, Jehod, is the Capitan of a merchant ship and is from Aroughs in Surda. For the first five years of her life, Tiana lived with her mother, Dierna, in her father’s hometown. During that time, she had grudgingly learned the basics of cooking and sewing, even though she preferred playing out of doors with the village boys. In the winter of Tiana’s fourth year, Dierna became deathly ill after staying out too late one cold night. Unfortunately the Aroughs’ doctor couldn’t save her and on midwinter’s eve, Dierna died. For the rest of that winter, Tiana lived at the house of a family friend. When spring brought her father back from Teirm, she waited for Jehod at the dock and as soon as she saw him coming out of the ship, she ran to him crying. When he knelt and asked what was wrong she told him about Dierna’s death through her sobs. At first he was in shock and couldn’t believe it until he looked for his wife and saw only his best friend looking sadly at him. He then cried with Tiana, for Jehod had loved his wife dearly. After a short period of mourning, Jehod decided to sell his house in Aroughs and to take his daughter to live with him at sea. Her first few years at sea were spent in the galley with the cook who had grudgingly taken her on as a helper. Tiana quickly adapted to her life as the cook’s help and soon became considered a part of the crew, if only in the galley. With this realization, she decided that she would become an equal to the men of the crew, according to their standards, in all other aspects of the sailing life. And slowly she began to incorporate herself into the lives of the other sailors on her father’s ship and in ten years, at the age of fifteen, she had come to be considered an equal by all but the most stubborn men of the crew.
Other: Among the things she has learned from the sailors on her father’s ship she has learned hand-to-hand self-defense and some rudimentary knife skills.

Dragon’s Egg (a description): Very like Saphira’s egg but iridescent with silver veins.

Dragon’s Looks: Briam’s body shape is just like Saphira’s but bigger and with a silver spike on the end of his nose and in place of the two feelers. His scales are mainly iridescent with a scattering of light blue ones. The spikes on Briam’s neck are silver as are his claws and teeth. His eyes will be the same light blue as that of the minority of his scales.
Dragon’s Personality: Very much the trickster, witty, charming, and loyal to his friends.

RP Introduction Post: It was almost dawn and as was usual nowadays, Tiana was one of the first ones awake. She got dressed and went down to the galley where she stoked the fire in the stove and began to prepare breakfast without the cook, Gilead. Tiana did this every morning, for although she now had more duties than just those to Gill, she still had to help him every morning and evening. The rest of Tiana’s day was now spent up on deck helping with the sails, taking her shift in the crow’s nest, and generally helping out while bantering with the rest of the crew. The small amount of time she had to herself usually came just after the sun set. Tiana would usually spend this time making up songs, reading her books, or carving herself a new figurine. She ran over her self-imposed regime in her head and had just begun to contemplate what she would do with her free time this evening, when she heard a loud bang and a thump in the galley. Tiana turned but saw no one and so she left the stove, over which she had been heating the porridge, and proceeded into the galley and as the ship swayed, something began to roll across the floor. Whatever it was, winked at her as it rolled, but she knew only that it appeared to be about a foot long, round, and iridescent. She quickly went over to it and put her foot in its way as it rolled towards the wall. It gently stopped against her booted foot. Tiana then bent down to examine it before trying to pick it up. She quickly saw that this strange object had silver veins running over its surface and that it was almost perfectly smooth. Tiana then cautiously touched this, unusual object and found that it was neither cold nor hot but room temperature. It seemed to be a rare stone of some sort. She picked it up, and found it to be somewhat lighter than it should have been for its size. As she walked it back to the kitchen puzzling over it, she realized that it must have been transported onto the ship by way of magic. It was the only reasonable explanation for how the stone had just appeared with a loud bang. But, Tiana could not know if it was meant for her or for someone else on the ship. She went to the kitchen and wrapped it up in some old rags and hid it in an unused cupboard. Just as she closed the cupboard Gill came down the stairs of the galley and Tiana quickly decided to keep the stone her secret for the time being. After she had finished helping the cook, she took the stone up to her private cabin under pretense of throwing the old rags overboard. Once the stone was locked safely in her chest, Tiana reluctantly returned to her usual day’s work, but the unusual stone stayed on the back burner of her mind all day.

OOC: If this RP has died, I hope it would be ok if I used this idea to try and start a very similar RP. If no one replies in like 10 days that's exactly what I'm gonna do.

*Keith was on the plains, his city just over the horizon, he continue to walk toward the town of Daret, and eventualy he became weary, and the sky became dark, he opened his bag and took out a peice of raw stag, and cut a small peice out of it so that he could eat, later he made it to a clump of trees, rare in the plains part of Alagaesia, he set down his pack and sat down on the ground and leaned on it, his eyes soon closing as he drift of into a deep sleep...*

"Ow..." managed to choke out Keith as a Rock of Red Ruby hit him in the stomach, and blew the wind out of him.

*Keith new that that this rock was not ordinary as it had fallen out of the sky, and had a lot of silvery lines going up and down the stone, this was not ordinary ruby, it had to be something important, but he didn't know what. He put it in his bag with his last remainging strength and slumped down compleatly unable to stay awake any longer.*

I hate doing OOC posts like this but I haven't thought of where to take my character from here. Oh BTW: is there any specific place all of us should be trying to get to eventually? Obviously my character is actually going to have to land, but from there where should she go? Palancar Valley?

Suddenly Zae saw an odd light shine from the ground below (for he was on a large clifflike hill overlooking a small valley); He emediatly swept down the valley into the forest where it came from. He ran through the forest coutiuosly, to make sure that the light was nt from some unown enemie. Zae knew that the forest here was had become more hostile lately. Spottings of theifs and dark warriors had reached his ears.

Coming to a clearing I could see a somewhat scorched ring of ground where it seemed an explosion had happoned. But there was no sign of any weapon that could have made it. Exept, of course, a large stone in the middle. Rays of light bounced of the surface of the the white object. It was clear as a mirror, pearl in color.

"What in the land is this?" Zae said with coriosity, "Where could it have come from?"

He stood over it and slowly lifted it. Zae's eyes widened as he realized what the stone was.

"It's a... a dragon egg!"

OOC: to Tiana M: I guess we'll eventualy group up when Eragon comes to find us, unless someone meets any delays. How about Eragon is a NPC and can be controlled by anyone. I also think that we should set up Ambushes for one another, like Say I can set a group of bandits attack Blaziken inferno, BlazikenInferno sets a pirate urgal ship to attack you, Tiana, and you set a goup of plain theives to come and try to steal my egg. That way there is more of a battle and not a one-hit-KO attacks

OCC:I agree that we should all eventually meet up with Eragon, but instead of being an NPC character for anyone he should be controlled by either you or me seeing as how we've read the book but, it's your RP. THe NPC attack idea is cool but one of us would have to come up with a way to regulate them, like by the roll of a die or something like that.

OOC: This has seemed to die, how about we cancel this RP and you and me create a Revamped vertion with better things like Stats, a better fight system, a few D&D things like the dice you mentioned whould be good, we could use a AIM Chat to make special dice like a 21 dice or a 7 dice, or mabey a 63 die. Then we could also make it easier to play if you havn't read the book, we could also make me have Eragon and my own PC as charictors for me.

so if most of us agree on this we can close it right? otherwise we could create a simple Fight system on the way....

That's good with me, the more efficient the better. Although, nearly all non-Pokemon RP's don't go far, excluding Yu-Gi-Oh ones, but they have the dueling to them, which makes it less RP-ish.

History: Insolar Printa, the son of the elf Arya. He was born, and heard nothing of Eragon's quest to find new Dragon Rider, but he always wanted to be one

Looks: Tall, and wears typical elf clothes. A cream top and green pants. Has an olive green cloak. Emerald eyes and brown hair

Personality: Kind to most people and quite open. He loves his dragon (when he gets it) and will give his life for it.
