i finnaly got my salamence to lvl 100,
hes naughty natured which means he has good attack, but
when i look at serebii, hes not at max stats, and i ev'd him all the wayt with proetins and what not, but

his attack is 355, the beneficial nature is 404 or something in the early 400's
and i wanna know whats up is there another factor involving stats?
thanks i wanna know because, if not i wasted lots of time

I wonder why people don't follow the rules and double post all the time, or is it just me? Max stats also assume you have a 31 EV in that stat, and so yours obviously didn't have it.

is it just me or does no one look at this thread? lol

You should probably wait a little longer...

I think you mean IV right?

You need to EV train. Not just give Protein. My old Salamence had a Jolly Nature(Does not increase attack) and had 361 ATK.

It's because it's not perfectly EV trained in attack and its IV is probably not 31. You can still EV train it.

Go here: http://www.psypokes.com/lab/evguide.php

and scroll all the way down to bottom.

By the way, even with an adamant Salamence with 252 EVs in attack, it won't likely have 400+ attack power. The only way is to get one with its attack IVs in high 20s at least.

Then you must of done something wrong, mine is adamant nature, 252 EVs into attack, 27 Attack IV, and his attack is 401.

IVs are values that range from 0 to 31. A Pokemon will have a random number for each stats. IVs cannot be changed, Pokemons are born with it.

Obviously, the higher the better. Serious battlers take IVs into account.

EV is what you get when you feed vitamins or fight Pokemons.

i have it maxed out with every single vitamin and its attack is still 355? whats with that can i change it? i tried putting on a macho brace and killing trapinch, i killed 8 and i didnt get a boosted attack ??? whats wrong? i tried giving it another protein, but it still had no effect
