I myself think the Pokeradar is the easiest way to get shinies because I have caught:

7 Shiny Shinxs
2 Shiny larvitars
1 Shiny Starly
1 Shiny Geodude

and thats all so far!

You need to beat the E4 and obtain the National Dex.

Anyways, my highest chain was 7 for a Mareep. Then a stupid Shellos
broke it. I stink at the Pokeradar, it's so hard! Sometimes I'm chaining and
then the Pokeradar just doesn't go off again, which is so annoying!

I've wasted tons of Max repels only to get like a chain of 3 before the Pokeradar
dies and doesn't go off or something breaks it. :dazed:

Normally a route with swarms. If you have a Pokemon that has Static as its ability, I personally find the route with Shinx quite easy. :happy:

Yeah, and Storm Drain also works for Water-types. I read it somewhere, but I guess it's true, since I once used Lumineon as my first Pokemon and the Buizels at the Valley Windworks kept on coming.

Just focus on the farthest bush (just not too far), make sure it's the same bush you entered before that and, if it is, enter. If you're doubtful about the bushes, simply reset the radar. :happy:

my biggest chain was 112 and then I finally see a shiny a shiny Growlthe and also an easier way to see shiny pokemon is to get with the partner (the random ones ) when you are in grass so basicly the begining I had gotten a shiny wurmple there =P but you have to kill one pokemon first in order to capture

Unfortunately, no. As for the shiny legends/starters, you have to keep on restarting until you get the shiny you want.

Right now I'm trying to catch a shiny Starly. Although it is a common Pokemon, my chains often break because of a Bidoof. If not a Bidoof, a Nidoran. :oops:

It only works in certain patches of grass. Size has nothing to do with it. Look on Serebii to see what Pokemon appear in what grass with the Pokeradar.

Have the Radar on your Touch Screen.
Press it to activate whilst standing in SHORT GRASS.
Move around and go to wherever the grass shakes.
- Note: There are varying degrees of movement, shaking harder means it's likely to be a Pokemon you are chaining.
Flashing grass means a shiny is waiting there.
Take MORE repels than neccessary, better to be safe than sorry.

Please correct anything that is wrong or make additions where needs be.

You make a chain by findin the same pokemon multiple times like if you find a bidoof with the pokerader and you kill it and then you find a nother 1 that is a chain and it goes on until you find a diferent pokemon which breaks the chain.

But even using it to find Snorunt was a pain so I just transfered it from a GBA cartridge. :confused:
